Android 18 (人造人間18号 Jinzōningen Jū Hachi-Gō, lit. "Artificial Human No. 18"), Lazuli (ラズリ, Razuri) when she was an ordinary Human, is the twin sister of Android 17 and Dr. Gero’s eighteenth Android creation to serve in his vendetta against Goku, eventually slaughtering the Z-Fighters and driving the Human race to near extinction.
Universe 14's Android 18 had not been killed by Trunks, as Trunks was killed by Cell in Universe 17. Android 18 continued to terrorize the Earth with her brother until they were offered a chance to compete in the Multiverse Tournament.
After Android 18 was deactivated by XXI using an Android Deactivation Remote, she was revived following the Majin Invasion.
Appearance[]
Android 18, like her brother, has shoulder length hair, but her hair color is blonde. She also has blue eyes, and loop earrings on both ears. She keeps the left side of her hair behind her ear. When she is first activated by Gero, she wears a blue jean jacket and skirt (with the Red Ribbon logo on the back of the jacket) with dark blue stockings, brown boots, and a black undershirt that has white and black striped sleeves.
Personality[]
Android 18 of Universe 14 is a sadistic sociopath who cares for no one but herself and her twin brother, Android 17. Having lost her humanity and memories of her life as a Human, she shows no remorse over the millions of lives she has taken while wreaking havoc on Planet Earth. Although Android 18 is an evil killer, she has a soft spot for Kulilin and was greatly enraged over his death.
When Yamcha of Universe 9 attempts to help her remember her identity of when she was a regular Human, she violently rejects his offer. She also shows some annoyance to her brother occasionally. Despite her cruel and inhuman nature, she enjoys shopping for fashionable clothes.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Originally a Human named Lazuli, she was the born the older twin sister of Lapis. A notorious delinquent along with her brother, the two would be kidnapped by Dr. Gero, who sought them out as test subjects. Lazuli and her brother Lapis would be turned into cybernetic Androids labeled Androids #17 and #18 in order to serve in the mad doctor’s vendetta against the Saiyan Son Goku.
Awakened[]
Dr. Gero would later be killed by Android 17 after awakening the twin cyborgs. Afterwards, the two began to wreak havoc among the Earth since Goku had died prior to their awakening from heart disease, destroying cities and killing many people.
As the Androids attack another city, the Z-Fighters arrive and confront them. Easily, the Androids defeat them all despite the arrival of Super Saiyan Vegeta and Tenshinhan trying to convince them to stop the senseless killing, and Android 17 kills Tenshinhan by vaporizing his head. Kulilin then tries to beg for mercy, which sparks an unfamiliar feeling in #18, which makes her convince her brother to only kill them one by one. Escaping, Vegeta and Gohan entered the Room of Spirit and Time together in order to train. During this time, Gohan unlocks Super Saiyan.
The Androids would later travel to Goku’s house and visit Goku’s grave, ignoring Chi-Chi and Gyumao who were watching them from the front of the house. Disappointed that Goku had died, they were confronted by an angry Chi-Chi.
A Twisted Game[]
After #17 destroys Chi-Chi’s house while feigning clumsiness, Chi-Chi warns them that Gohan will defeat them, but are only met with their amusement that she thinks the son of Goku has the power to defeat them before #17 slaps Chi-Chi after she screams at them. Enraging Gyumao, he attempted to punch Android 17, but was met with no reaction from the Android and Gyumao’s hand had broke. Finishing off the giant man, Kulilin and Yamcha arrive. Rushing to Chi-Chi’s aid, Kulilin is relieved to discover that she is still alive. Ushering Yamcha to escape with him, Yamcha grabs Gyumao, Kulilin takes Chi-Chi and they prepare to escape, though the Androids begin to blindly fire ki blasts, narrowly avoided the Humans, which allowed them to take Chi-Chi and Gyumao to safety.
Kulilin and Yamcha would later return and face the Androids again. Learning of #18’s past as a normal Human from Bulma, Kulilin tried to sympathize with her how despite her gaining incredible power, she had to sacrifice her humanity for it, which made the Android blush before #17 began to verbally lash out at them. When Android 17 prepares to kill Kulilin, Gyumao offers his life instead of Kulilin’s, but the Android rejects this and prepares to kill Kulilin until Yamcha and Kulilin suddenly kicks #17 in the face which gave Gyumao and Chi-Chi the opportunity to hide, though the Androids noticed this and attack Gyumao. Android 18 would then restrain Kulilin as her brother killed Gyumao and #18 let him go afterwards. Overcome with rage, Kulilin surprised the Androids by throwing a massive ki blasts at the two, though #18 dodged the attack.
18 began to smugly mock the two before Yamcha began to mock her as well. Mocking both Androids, #17 attacks Yamcha in turn. Turning their attention back to Kulilin, they tell each other they should make him angry again in order to make him stronger like he once was.
Using the Solar Flare technique, the Androids are temporarily blinded by the attack. As Kulilin attempted to attack them again, he was brutally beaten by the twin cyborgs. Approaching Kulilin with a captivating smile after he had insulted her, the cyborg calls him cute. Without warning, the two Humans took off flying away from the Androids but were quickly pursued by them. #17 then caught Yamcha and began to torture him as Kulilin begged not to kill him. Enraged, Kulilin attacks #17 with a Destructo Disc but is astonished when the cyborg easily deflects the attack which hits Yamcha, killing him.
Sobbing, Kulilin dropped to the ground, succumbing to his wounds. He soon realized in shock that Android 18 was holding him while he laid on the ground, drying his tears. Beginning to experience guilt for the first time, #17 asks his sister what she is doing before softly she explains that she feels sorry for him. As #17 prepared to kill him, #18 defended him, explaining that he was in a catatonic state. Sparing the warrior, the two Androids left Kulilin where he was until he was found by Gohan. Realizing his grandfather is dead, Gohan’s anger towards the cyborgs explodes.
The Tournament[]
First Round[]
In her first round she faced off against Yamcha from Universe 9. Even though she was seemingly no match for him, Yamcha eventually gave up the fight, making her the technical winner of the match.
Second Round[]
Through the second round of the tournament, 18 manage to defeat Arale, from Universe 2, after the latter had run out of energy. Having collapsed after attempting to drink energy from an empty bottle, 18 was declared as the match's victor, in posteriority to a 30-second count.
Third Round[]
Android 18's third match was against XXI. After a warning from Yamcha, she charged at XXI, only to be shut down by a remote, that XXI had hidden in his sleeve. With 18 shut down, XXI is declared the winner. Yamcha then goes retrieve her.
Abilities[]
Android 18 is fitted with a device that gives her a continuous and virtually infinite energy supply. This prevents her from becoming exhausted while fighting, and augments her power enough to make her a formidable opponent even for any of the surviving Saiyans. A skill which she shares with other Android models is the ability to go undetected by ki signatures, as her power is substantiated by mechanics. Just like her brother, her cybernetic implants do not affect her ability to gain new skills and power levels through training.
In her physical prime, 18 was on par with a well-trained Super Saiyan, being able to easily manhandle individuals like Vegeta prior to his training in the Room of Spirit and Time. However, it is revealed in her bout with Yamcha that her "infinite energy" power supply has its limits; decades of wear and tear, combined with lack of maintenance, has caused her power to decline from its peak, to the point that the better-trained Yamcha was able to defeat her with relative ease. A statement by Salagir suggests that by Age 794, she is weaker than Freeza in his final form.[1]
Yamcha claimed that if she wasn't given proper maintenance, she would be unable to even walk within the next ten years. In the third round, however, Buu completely repaired her, restoring the cyborg back up to her original level of strength.
After being magically repaired by Majin Buu, Android 18 is now far stronger than her brother, who is still in an unrepaired state.

Trivia[]
- Universe 14's Android 18 has the same personality than her counterpart from Universe 12. She is seemingly more cruel than the one seen in the main timeline, and is bent on doing nothing more but destroying and killing.
- During her first round battle, Yamcha was revealed to be the Android #17 of his own universe and also informed 18 that her "infinite power" had regressed over time, making her significantly weaker.
