Cargot is a Namekian warrior hailing from Universe 10. Among the strongest within his race, he participates in the Multiverse Tournament.

    Appearance[]

Cargot shares the typical appearance of Namekians by possessing green skin and having two head antennas. Being over 30 years older compared to his child self in canon, Cargot is now an adult who possesses a firm build and a more angular face. Clothing-wise Cargot wars a yellow shirt that long enough to reach his upper thighs and a white scarf around his neck. He wears black pants and the typical footwear all Namekians adorn. Lastly a obi-belt is worn around his waist to secure his clothing.[1]

    Personality[]

Not much is shown from Cargot besides him being a composed and disciplined warrior. Uniquely when Nappa brags about killing Namekians from Universe 13, Cargot seems to not care about the news. However Cargot answered in such a manner to not get destabilized by the Saiyans taunts.[2][3]

    History[]

Not much is known about Cargot's history other than his brief appearances in canon. Hailing from Elder Moori's village and uniquely being the 109th and last son from Grand Elder Guru, he would have been very close to Dende while growing up and was a member of the Dragon Clan. For reasons unknown, he ultimately became a warrior-type and eventually became one of the strongest fighters among his brethren.[4]

In Age 794, the Vargas came for participants for their Multiverse Tournament and Cargot ultimately agreed to participate.

    Multiverse Tournament[]

First Round: Lots of Old Foes Here[]

When Piccolo arrives to talk to Nail, Cargot is not seen but is in the background.[5] He remains quiet as their discussion continues.[6] But when Nail introduced the other Namekian fighters participating, which included Cargot, Piccolo became surprised by it since he recalls that he had no real fighting capabilities in Universe 18. Cargot agrees, and informs Piccolo that he began to study and train under the very best though he cannot exactly remember what made him to change his mind to start his fighting career. Confirming with Piccolo that the elder Nameks found his change of interests strangely unfounded, Piccolo tells him that he understands before wishing all of the Namekians the best of luck in their fights.[4]

    Nappa Confronting Cargot

    Cargot confronting Nappa

When the Tournament finally began, Cargot was called to fight against Nappa from Universe 13.[7] Flying to the arena, Cargot lands before Nappa.[1] When the fight was announced, Cargot immediately got into a combat stance as Nappa charged after him. Managing to successfully block his punch with his arm, Cargot manages to successfully block all follow up attacks as his own are parried by the Saiyan warrior. As Nappa boasts about killing all of the Namekians back in Universe 13, Cargot coldly replies that it none of his concern.[2]

    Nappa Victory

    Cargot Defeated

As the fighting intensified, Cargot was struct squared in the face before receiving a brutal kick in the chest that indented his back. Cargot subsequently landed on the ground as Nappa regained himself.[8] With Nappa granted the victory, the Saiyan warrior mocks Cargot that the fight was "nothing" as two healing Namekians comes to Cargot's aid. They then pick him up and rush him back to Universe 10's balcony as Freeza was called to fight against Jeece, both from Universe 8.[9]

First Round: Uub and Buu Get the Honors![]

Upon regaining consciousness the moment Nail was called to fight against Reacum, Warning Nail of Nappa's power and he should be weary of Reacum as well, Nail is grateful for the gesture before flying off to face his opponent.[10]

First Round: Two Giants Face to Face[]

    U10 Namekians Quit

    All the Namekians leave

When the Saiyans from Universe 10 decided to all forfeit on the orders of King Vegeta, all the Namekians do likewise with Nail leading them.[11][12]

    After the Multiverse Tournament[]

    Saiyan Coup[]

Upon forfeiting and entering the Vargas spaceship alongside all of the Saiyans, all the Namekians and Vargas were unaware of King Vegeta's plan to avenge their humiliation and acquire the vast technology the Vargas possessed. When King Vegeta confirmed with all groups that they wanted to go to Planet Namek to drop off the Namekians first, most of the Namekians went to the shuttle to prepare for their subsequent landing. As the Saiyans make their preparations along with ideals to even take over Planet Namek as their first planet of conquest, Mahissu and ten others Saiyans rushed to the shuttle to destroy it along with all Namekians on board. When the spaceship quickly reached Planet Namek, the Saiyans acted on their plan and destroyed the shuttle, killing most of the Namekians with the few still outside quickly killed by energy blasts.[13]

With most of the Vargas killed and all the Namekians from Universe 1 were murdered, only four Namekians were alive from Universe 10. With two being in critical condition and Nail being in rough shape himself since he didn't properly heal after fighting Reacum, As Nail gently put the injured Namekian to the side, Cargot also appeared from the rubble and they helped the last Namek alive in the vicinity. However the Saiyans came and killed the two survivors and began to battle both Nail and Cargo. The two Namekians brutally killed Mahissu and every other Saiyan before going to the bridge where the others Saiyans were at. After a series of events where King Vegeta became an Oozaru and the entire ship crashed into Planet Namek, healer Namekians arrived at the scene of the crash.[14] As Dende and the other healers tended Nail as warrior-type Namekians remained on stand by, Nail quickly went to where King Vegeta crashed at and subdued him. Going to the crash site as dead bodies were being piled up, Cargot managed to live and restrained the only other Saiyan who survived; Baddack. As the last two remaining Vargas told their story to the healer Nameks who first arrived at the scene, everyone decided to use the dragons to wish for bringing back the souls of the deceased to this planet, reviving everyone, and then repairing their ship so that they could go back home. Taking less than two hours to gather all of the Dragon Balls, it took a few days for Elder Moori to upgrade the powers of said Dragon Balls to be able to revive multiple people at once. Once Porunga was summoned and all the wishes were made, it irritated King Vegeta since none of the Saiyans were revived. Cargot alongside Nail and twenty five Namekians boarded the Vargas Spaceship to send off King Vegeta and Baddack back to Planet Vegeta. Once arriving, Cargot and the others witness Nail further humiliating King Vegeta. Before Nail and Cargot could board the ship, the full moon appeared since it was already past dusk and all the Saiyans in the area became to transform into Oozarus. After knocking out several, the Namekians managed to get back in the shuttle and quickly flew back to the mothership. Eventually all the Namekians besides the ones from Universe 1 disembarked the ship once they reached planet Namek again, putting the ordeal behind them.[15]

    Saiyan Genocide[]

As Cargot and the others failed to realize, but Dr. Raichi implanted a microchip onto the ship that was programmed to create Ghost Warrior Hanasia to exterminate all the Saiyans in Universe 10. Hanasia succeeded in killing the Saiyans and destroying Planet Vegeta before disappearing forever from this universe.[16]

    Power & Abilities[]

Not much is known about Cargot's full capabilities, but he's among the most powerful from his universe due to him selecting to participate in the Multiverse Tournament. He's the second strongest warrior-type, only inferior to Nail.[12]

    Tournament - First Round[]

    Nappa Vs Cargot

    Cargot Vs Nappa

As Cargot showed no hesitation upon confronting Nappa in their duel,[1][7] for a brief moment he managed to hold his own against the seasoned Saiyan warrior.[2] But after taking two brutal blows to his body,[8] Cargot lost as Nappa was declared the winner.[9]

Thus Cargot was absolutely no match for Nappa in any way, shape, or form.[3]

    First Round - Statements[]

Piccolo felt confident in Cargot's abilities when he battled against Nappa since he's both a warrior-type and strong.[8] Piccolo even went as far to point out that Cargot's initial strength wasn't too far off from Nappa's own.[3] After winning in their match, Nappa openly mocked Cargot since the fight was "nothing".[9]

    Saiyan Coup[]

Cargot alongside Nail and two other Namekians [likely Caracoru and Lumaca] managed to survive the initial ambush orchestrated by the Saiyans. Despite the injuries sustained, Cargot was able to easily defeat groups of Saiyan warriors and managed to kill Mahissu with the help of Nail. Cargot continued to fight more Saiyans before the ship crashed on Planet Namek.[13][14] Surviving the crash, Cargot was strong enough to easily subdue Baddack. And when on Planet Vegeta, Cargot was powerful enough to fight off several Oozarus before making a tactical retreat off the planet.[15]

Thus against the strongest Saiyan Warriors from Universe 10, Cargot can easily hold his own against them.

    Techniques[]

Flight: The ability to levitate by manipulating one's ki. Cargot displays this when traveling to the arena to confront Nappa.[1]

Ki Blasts: The ability to discharge heated energy blasts at various intervals. Cargot combined his with Nail's to utterly vaporize Mahissu in the novel.[14]

    Trivia[]
