Freeza (フリーザ, Furīza), known as Frieza in the Funimation dub, was a Frost Demon prince from Universe 3. Hailing from the Frost Demon Royal Family, he met his untimely demise by the hands of the Saiyans during their rebellion, led by Baddack.
His essence was ultimately copied by Dr. Raichi and became a Ghost Warrior that participated in the Multiverse Tournament.
Appearance[]
Freeza has the exact same appearance just like his canon counterpart in the manga and anime.
In his Third Restriction Form, Freeza is quite short (around Vegeta's height) who is shown to constantly levitate inside of his hover chair. Freeza has pink skin that his segmented over the majority of his body, while possessing purple skin only on his feet, hands, neck, and face. Freeza wears natural bio-armor over his chest, ankles, and forearms, which is white that has either bio-gems (shoulders and abdomen) or segmented designs (forearms and ankles) adorning them. Freeza's tail has a purple, extended tip, while his face has serrated tear-marks between his eyes and ears. Lastly, Freeza has two horizontal horns on his head while a huge bio-gem sits on the apex of his cranium. Freeza usually wears armor over this form unless he is either injured or transforms.
When in his True Form, Freeza greatly resembles his first form overall, but noticeable differences take place. The most dramatic change is Freeza's new skin color design, which becomes pure white as purple bio-gems adorn his ankles, forearms, shoulders, abdomen, and head. Freeza's tear-marks become much thinner, as he completely loses the horns on his head. Freeza's muscular mass is also slightly more bigger compared to his first form.
Personality[]
Freeza of Universe 8 has the same personality traits as seen in the manga and the anime; egocentric, and proud. It is shown that he still has a strong sibling rivalry with his older brother, Coola, despite their alliance over the organization.
History[]
Birth[]
Freeza was born in Age 570 to King Cold as a prince of the Frost Demon Empire and the younger brother of Coola.
Coup d'état[]
In Age 731, Freeza employed the Saiyan race to work within the Frost Demon Empire, slaughtering the populaces of planets and selling the vacant planet for a high price. In Age 737, Freeza decided to destroy the home planet of the Saiyans along with their entire race after experiencing paranoia over the Saiyans’ steadily growing power and the legend of the Legendary Super Saiyan he had heard of.
Traveling to Planet Vegeta, Freeza was unaware that King Vegeta had been deposed by Baddack and became the new king, whom began utilizing the entire Saiyan army to plan a rebellion against him. Unaware that Baddack’s future vision had predicted his arrival, Baddack had Hanasia infiltrate Freeza’s imperial ship while the rest of the Saiyans created artificial moons. Weakening Freeza’s line of defense by killing soldiers, Freeza, along with his surviving soldiers were ambushed by a massive horde of Oozarus who, all at once, fired ki blasts at the emperor, killing hi, before he could transform.
Multiverse Tournament[]
Freeza in his fifth form at full power
During Dr. Raichi battle against Prince Vegeta of Universe 13, the Tsuful summoned Ghost Warriors: Freeza, his brother, and their father to combat the Saiyan, due to Vegeta making a comment about beating his universe's Freeza. The three attack Vegeta, but he evades them and easily defeats Cold. In response Coola takes on his Fifth Form, and Freeza powers up to Full Power, and then takes on a Fifth Form of his own. He and Coola attack Vegeta with a Death Cannon/Death Flash combo, but Vegeta counters with his Final Garlic Cannon and obliterates them.

Freeza at Full Power
Visions of the Future / The Saiyans Rebellion[]
Just like all his counterparts, Freeza was just as strong when he attempted to destroy Planet Vegeta.
In one future vision, Freeza was shown to easily kill King Vegeta with a single Death Beam. However upon facing a army of Oozaru, Freeza immediately opted to transform into the Second Restriction State to have a better chance. He was killed during mid-transformation.
Thus when caught off guard during mid-transforming, Freeza can be killed by multiple weaker powers if they combined their strengths together.
Power & Abilities (Multiverse Tournament)[]
Enemies Forever[]
Having been reborn as a Ghost Warrior, Freeza can now perfectly control his natural power level without any issues.
Upon seeing Emperor Vegeta becoming a Super Saiyan 2 and easily killing King Cold prompted Freeza to immediately transform into the First Augmentation State. Despite this power increase and combining his strength with Coola, but were quickly killed by the Saiyan.
Techniques[]
Flight: The ability to levitate by manipulating one's own ki.
Death Beam: A precise finger beam that can easily pierce through most opponents. In a future vision, it was used to kill King Vegeta. It was also used to kill a cowardly soldier by blowing off his head.
Supernova: In one of Baddack's visions of Freeza destroying Planet Vegeta, he sees Freeza prepare this technique.
Death Cannon: A powerful energy wave, used in combination with Coola's Death Flash against Vegeta.
Transformations[]
Third Restriction Form[]
Freeza utilized this form during his attempted attack on the Saiyans, he quickly began transforming upon seeing them as Oozarus.

Freeza reveals his fifth form
Second Restriction Form[]
When on his father's capital planet, Freeza was shown to be battling Coola in attempt to prove they were equals. Freeza attempted to utilize this form against the rebelling Saiyans, but their attacks hit him midway through his transformation and he was thought dead.
First Restriction Form[]
Despite possessing this form, Freeza was never shown to be using at any point in time.
True Form[]
Freeza used his true form when summoned by Raichi as a Ghost Warrior at the Multiverse tournament.
100% Full Power[]
After seeing King Cold easily taken down by Vegeta, Freeza began powering up, temporarily taking on his 100% Full Power state and then transforming into his next form.
First Augmentation Form[]
Freeza takes on a Full Power Fifth Form after seeing King Cold taken down by Vegeta. He and Coola then attacked the Saiyan Prince.
Trivia[]
- Despite appearing on the cover of Chapter 55, Freeza is never summoned during Dr. Raichi's fight against Gast Carcolh in either the comic or novel.
