"Clearly, our two universes separated at the moment I appeared...How did you beat Buu if you and Vegeta didn't fuse together in order to become me?" — Vegetto, in "Uub and Buu get the honors!"

Vegetto (ベジート, Bejitto), also known as Vegito in some English translations, is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta through the use of the Potara Earrings and the guardian of Universe 16. Having never defused like his Universe 18 counterpart due to maintaining a barrier while absorbed by Majin Buu and proving too strong to be defused by Porunga, Vegetto continued to exist on his own, maintaining both of his fusees' families at once.

Worshiped as a deity by some and wanted dead by others, he strives to defend his Universe 16 with his unrivaled power.

Appearance

Being the result of the fusion between Vegeta and Goku, Vegetto is a perfect mixture of the two's characteristics. His height is mostly derived from Goku while his black hair is more inclined to that of Vegeta's; it stands upward constantly, but has two bangs in front, a trait inherited from Goku. Vegetto wears two yellow earrings as a result of his Potala fusion. His regular outfit consist of an inverted version of Goku's signature gi, with the colors of the gi and undershirt reversed. The inversion is caused by adopting the color of Vegeta's outfit for the external wear, while using the orange of Goku's gi for the undershirt. He also wears white boots and gloves in the same style as Vegeta. Physically Vegetto is heavily muscular, though lean enough to maintain high levels of speed without drawbacks. Lastly his black eyes are usually styled similar to Vegeta, but when his mood is elevated they make the half-oval shape that highly characteristic to Goku.

Due to Multiverse canon, the Potara fusion is considered indefinite as it originally was before Dragon Ball Super established the one-hour time limit for mortals. Thus, Universe 16's Vegetto had substantially more time to develop further personality-wise than his Universe 18 counterpart.

At his core, Vegetto's personality is composed primarily of traits from both Goku and Vegeta. Like Vegeta, he is cocky, tending to taunt and belittle his opponents, and exudes pride and intelligence during battle. Like Goku, he is easy-going, cheerful, and possesses a winner's spirit. Like both Saiyans, he is an adaptable fighter and glutton, and possesses an overwhelming lust for battle with strong opposition. He was extremely pleased by his battle with Broly, taking steps to allow Broly to power-up further to maximize his enjoyment before ultimately defeating him to keep the spectators safe.

However, Vegetto also possesses a distinct darker side, both as a result of a mixture of Goku and Vegeta's more negative traits (part of which may stem from his Vegeta component never having reflected on Goku's fighting philosophy) and as his own individual. His amplified Saiyan instincts lead him to desire worthy opponents and high-level battles constantly, obsessions which are put at odds with his duties as Universe 16's guardian and the lack of threats within said universe. It was mentioned in Vegetto's Heiresses that Vegetto's Saiyan blood "will boil as he lacks an adversary at his size", and Dabra noted to Babidi that Vegetto did not seem completely pure (though Babidi was hesitant to try possessing him due to Vegeta being a component of his fusion). Additionally, Vegetto is prone to outbursts when obstructed from his goals. Over the course of the tournament, Vegetto was faced with several setbacks, including his own bracket loss to XXI, and gradually became more irritated with every passing moment, save for during food intermissions. His main method of coping with this inability for satisfaction is usually to use Instant Transmission to find a space to be alone and vent to himself, as well as internalize his more extreme desires for battle.

Almost hypocritically, however, Vegetto, sometimes does not enjoy it when other individuals begin to grow close to his power level, even if he actually remains leagues ahead (like Vegeta). Seeing Universe 18's Goku and Vegeta enhance their base states for a colossal leap in power was enough to irk Vegetto and cause him envy, despite the pair being "infinitely weaker" by comparison.

Vegetto believes that an individual with great enough strength can overcome any obstacle no matter what, so long as they are "a thousand times stronger". This is perhaps his most prominent value, as he despises magic, viewing it as "dishonest" when it does end up exceeding his absurd battle power, especially so because he believed his strength would allow him to sweep through the tournament uncontested. He was irate when XXI used magic to deceive and disqualify him, even moreso when Gast effortlessly stripped him of his power and immobilized him with magic of his own. This also stems from his repeated encounters with various iterations of Majin Buu. After his unexpected elimination and experiencing numerous setbacks to the tournament at large, Vegetto gradually became more and more irritated by the other participants, even snapping at Trunks on one occasion. This anger was only amplified by his hunger after using his reserves to stop Zen Buu's rampage.

Vegetto's moody personality has put him at odds with a few members of his family. First and foremost, Gohan was the greatest warrior he knew of besides himself, but due to his pacifist nature, Gohan would repeatedly refuse father’s request for even a spar, driving Vegetto into an internal (and momentarily external) rage and even making him consider kidnapping Pan in order to motivate Gohan's fighting spirit and force him into a sparring match before realizing how morally horrible of an idea it was. Despite this, Vegetto remained disappointed with Gohan's pacifist ideals, even moreso during Multiverse when he was tricked into losing his tournament match and wanted to continue fighting, and Gohan convinced him into accepting his loss for Pan's sake. Despite Gohan being right in every aspect, Vegetto's disappointment and rage were such that he might have shattered Gohan's skull on the spot had he not regained control. Overall, though, Vegetto holds a lot of respect for his son and, at the very least, values his strength.

His relationship with Bra is even more strained, especially since Bra displays many similar traits to her father - with none of the restraint. While Vegetto is proud of his daughter and eager to see her develop her power, her lack of control and violent drive to prove herself stronger than all others is especially worrisome. When Bra entered a rampage against several enemies and accidentally obliterated her brother Goten, Vegetto made it a point to warn Bra that he would take lethal action against her should she continue to carelessly display her power in a manner not unlike Broly, despite being her father. Multiverse proved this to be a concrete statement, as Vegetto became enraged upon discovering the carnage Bra had deliberately inflicted as a Majin, viciously kicking her in the gut and attempting to annihilate her on the spot for blocking his next attack before Gast stopped the fight.

History

Creation & Overview

Like in Universe 18 in Age 774, Goku and Vegeta used the Potala earrings to permanently fuse into Vegetto in order to defeat Majin Buu. But in Universe 16, the fusion was not dissolved as Vegetto sustained his energy barrier after being seemingly absorbed and therefore was not exposed to the unusual atmosphere inside of Super Buu.

As life resumed it course with Vegetto never growing tired, he began teleporting excessively to meet both houses demands. Eventually Vegetto has a daughter with Bulma named Bra whose potential was enormous. When Gohan and Videl have their daughter named Pan, both children became Vegetto's students as their adventures begin.

The Birth of Vegetto: The end of the fight against Buu

Decision that changed Vegetto's life forever

Facing against Majin Buu while in his Super Saiyan state, Vegetto wore a victorious smile while thinking of the plan on how to save those that were absorbed. As Buu wore a expression of pure rage and began yelling at Vegetto, the fused Saiyan interrupted him before saying that he too is surprised by how much stronger he is than Buu. Growing even madder, Buu used Gotenks Super Ghosts Kamikaze Attack to generate five miniature ghosts. Adopting a fighting stance as the ghosts charged, Vegetto easily destroyed them all with a simple Banshee Blast. Ridiculing Buu for using a childish move, Buu shouted in rage, which made Vegetto to taunt him even more. Blocking Buu's melee strikes with the sole of his boot, Vegetto eventually kicks him in the face while mocking how weak he is. When Buu asks Vegetto if he likes coffee candy, he uses his change beam to transform Vegetto into a piece of candy. As Buu was celebrating, Vegetto retaliated by striking the djinn while gloating that he the strongest piece of candy in the world. Proceeding to injure Buu even further while ripping his head tentacle in half, Buu forcibly gave Vegetto his original form back. Believing that Buu no longer has any tricks left and plans to end him in ten seconds, Buu manages to cover Vegetto with his flesh and drag him towards his body, though Vegetto manages to create a energy shield in time. Upon opening his eyes and seeing himself in Buu's body, Vegetto smiled as he wiped a sweat drop from his face. Happy his shield worked, Vegetto now wishes to free everyone that been absorbed.

As Super Buu laughs at his seemingly triumphed victory while calling Vegetto a sucker, the fused Saiyan manually plugs his ears since Buu is ridiculously noisy. Pleased that the shield worked since he wasn't absorbed and decides to deactivate it, yet on second thought decides to keep it activated since he doesn't know what else may happen. Flying through Buu's body, Vegetto quickly finds the absorbed and begins freeing them, which negatively impacts Buu's physique.

Upon freeing Piccolo, Vegetto notes that Buu's power level dropped dramatically and now just needs to find a way out. When Vegetto noticed that Fat Buu is absorbed despite being eaten, the fused Saiyan ponders if he can free the others who too have been eaten. When Buu emerges inside his own body and informs Vegetto that Fat Buu was the only one to receive 'special treatment', which greatly alerts Vegetto, Buu angrily informs Vegetto that he wondered what was happening and applauds Vegetto for being tenacious, yet promises he will pay for freeing the absorbed. Threatening to blast a hole through Buu's body, which the djinn eggs him on, Vegetto fires a blast that manages to pierce through his chest, though it doesn't effect Buu at all.

As Vegetto remains in disbelief as the wound heals, Buu informs Vegetto that he has the advantage despite his reduced power since Vegetto is incredibly small now. Intending to reduce Buu's power even more, he grabs the pod of Fat Buu, which greatly frightens Super Buu. Begging Vegetto to stop since he wouldn't be himself anymore, Vegetto finds that very interesting as he begins to pull on the pod of Fat Buu. As Buu desperately attempts to stop him by charging, Vegetto rips Fat Buu away, which instantly floors Super Buu in a defeated manner. Vegetto then proclaims he needs to find a way out.

Flying through Buu's body with the previous absorbed on hand, Vegetto notes that Buu's organs are transforming and guesses that he is probably getting thinner. Once outside, Vegetto and the rest achieve their normal form, which Vegetto carries them all to a safer location. Witnessing Buu becoming vastly more muscular, Vegetto becomes puzzled since his strength is increasing dramatically. It less than when he had Gohan absorbed, but it still unexpected. He then sees Buu returning to his pure state; Kid Buu. Folding his arms, Vegetto realizes that his power has dropped again, and likely for the best. Assuming Buu less dangerous now, Vegetto becomes greatly alarmed when Buu fires a powerful ki blast at the Earth. Deflecting it with a well placed Final Burst Cannon, Vegetto asks Buu if he is mad and he can only destroy the Earth if he can beat him first. As Buu creates his Planet Burst, Vegetto rushes towards him since he just won't stop. Appearing next to Buu, Vegetto fires a Kamehameha that completely consumes Buu and his energy ball.

With Buu greatly injured and stunned, Vegetto quickly punches him in the gut before telling the djinn that he is insane and needs to finish this quickly. With Buu growing enraged, Vegetto uses the Majin punisher technique. With Buu losing his entire stomach, Vegetto begins spamming the attack that instantly eradicates various parts on the Majin. Eventually Buu is successfully killed since every atom was eradicated, prompting Vegetto to deactivate his Super Saiyan transformation and proclaim it is over, making the Kaioshin to celebrate in their world. As a token of appreciation, Vegetto hopes that he'll be able to get his 'revenge' when Buu finally reincarnates into somebody good, telling the late Buu farewell.

In the novel, Vegetto contacted the Kaioshins whom were on their Kaioshin homeworld. He was greeted by the happy Gods who congratulated him. Wishing to resurrect everyone while restoring the Earth, yet Shenron is no longer available, Vegetto gets a idea upon looking at Dende. Contacting King Kaio who immediately responds, Vegetto asks his master for some help in contacting the the Namekians. After some hesitancy since he wasn't sure it was allowed, King Kaio eventually created the link that allowed Vegetto to talk directly to Elder Moori. Asking for permission to use their Dragon Balls to restore his people and plane, Moori informs him that they already have the dragon balls and even increased Porunga's power to resurrect as many people as possible. Ready to hear the wishes, Vegetto tells Moori to restore Earth's buildings and landscapes before all of the battles. Second wish is to restore all of the earthlings besides of the criminals. And the final wish is to separate back into Goku and Vegeta once more. When the first two wishes were complete, yet was still one being, Vegetto is informed by Moori that Porunga isn't powerful enough to separate Vegetto. Trying to hide the fact his heart skipped a beat, Vegetto tells Moori that he has no more need for a third wish and thanks Moori as the link is severed. Vegetto then begins to Wonder on how he going to break the news to Chichi and Bulma or worse, fearing the disappointment from his friends and family.

With Buu finally defeated since nothing is left of him and Porunga fixed everything (in the novel since Shenron does it instead in the comic), Dende rushes to the downed warriors and slowly recovers them from their unconscious states from absorption. When Vegetto asks if they are okay, the likes of Gohan, Goten, and Trunks are shocked and call him "dad". Giving them a heartfelt smile, Vegetto asks Dende that they need to gather the Dragon Balls to revive all the Earthlings. After asking him if he can do that, Dende says that the balls won't be active for another four months, but will see if there anything he can do about it.

In the novel, Vegetto then tells everyone to grab onto him since it time to go back to the Lookout. Upon appearing, Videl asks who he is, which Vegetto states that "they" used the Potala Earrings. When both Bulma and Chici became confused, Vegetto points out that the Potala Earrings allows two people to merge together forever. Chi-Chi immediately faints as Bulma became silent.

The Birth of Vegetto: A Very Difficult Dilemma

A few days later, the Dragon Balls were gathered and Dende activated them early, allowing the destruction and loss of life to be undone. Standing before the Brief and Son family on the Lookout, Vegetto informs them that he neither Goku nor Vegeta, and he is Vegetto, a being born a few days ago. When Trunks sternly tells Vegetto that he isn't his father, Vegetto admits he not Vegeta, but loves him just as much as he did. Proclaiming he has love for both families, Chi-Chi breaks down since Goku been dead for seven years and won't steal Bulma's husband, but asks Vegetto to come visit them often and be a father for Goten. Vegetto happily agrees.

In the novel the lookout scene occurs on the same day that Buu was defeated where Porunga was used instead of Shenron. As Goten and Trunks came to understand the situation, Vegetto felt split since his Vegeta-half wanted him to act while his Goku-half told him to wait to see what was best regarding his son's decisions to accept him. When Vegetto answered Goten's question that he was his new father, Goten became happy as Trunks greatly disliked the fact he would never see Vegeta ever again, refusing to see Vegetto as an replacement. As Bulma reassured Trunks that he was indeed his new father, Vegetto displayed feelings Vegeta would have by firmly telling Trunks that while he no longer Goku or Vegeta, he still loves him and will be his father forever. As Trunks nodded while keeping the embarrassing questions for later, King Kaio telepathically chimed in and informed Vegetto that King Yemma wants to speak to him. Asking what he wanted, King Kaio said that he not sure himself, but go to him whenever he has time for it since the judge is currently busy cancelling all those that have died. Agreeing while thinking about his request regarding Buu's fate, King Kaio told them to celebrate before the connection was terminated.

Being the most curious and the less embarrassed to approach him, Videl began talking to Vegetto, something the fused Saiyan wasn't bothered with. Asked on how he felt and if he felt like he had a angel and devil on his shoulders like in the cartoons, Vegetto tells her not at all while imaging Goku and Vegeta as an angel and devil respectfully. Telling her he only has one conscience, thus one voice in his head, Vegetto's fusion is a complete merger of mind and body. Further explaining that they are him, yet he has not much to do with them, he is a approximate mix of their appearances and personality, thus he has their memories though it doesn't prevent him from making his own in due time. When Vegetto agrees with Videl's statement that it is complicated, she asks what he will do with each's man's respective wives. Thinking over it and knowing that Vegeta's natural disgust for Chi-Chi and his unexpected deep love for Bulma counterbalanced the belief he would be closer to Chi-Chi. Considering Goku's high value to never cheat on his wife and the fact he sees Bulma as a friend, thus there was no flirting, made the task all the more difficult. Feeling lost and scratching his head thoughtfully like Goku used to do, Vegetto tells Videl that he doesn't know, which makes Videl apologize for unintentionally embarrassing him. Saying it alright while turning the question again in his mind, despite only being born about two hours ago, Vegetto knows that Goku was deeply in love with his wife and only saw Bulma as a best friend. But with Vegeta making it complicated and Goku refusing to know Bulma more intimately, he studied both women more thoroughly as Videl asks if he came to a conclusion. Hesitantly telling her that he feels more attracted to Bulma, they talk for a bit more as the mood settled in that both Goku and Vegeta were gone forever.

Joining the larger group, Vegetto began talking to Android 18, Videl, and Mr. Satan, with the former liking Vegetto since she was on the same wavelength with Vegeta before his merger. As Dende, Kulilin, and Goten coped with it as other family members were having it difficult, Goten asked him if he was going to live with them. Taken back, Vegetto hears both Goten and Trunks argue on who can keep him before Bulma intervenes. With the mood ruined, Bulma looked at Vegetto to hint at him that they need to talk later, which he nodded. A few hours later as everyone is saying goodbye, Piccolo approaches Vegetto and asks him to increase his power since he wishes to see the power that killed Buu. Complying, Gohan interrupts who asks to quickly fight with Vegetto. Agreeing as Gohan went into a fighting stance, Vegetto didn't even budge as he teased Gohan to come on. Getting mad at seeing Vegeta's smirk on a face so similar to his father, Gohan threw himself on Vegetto. Parring a blow that Gohan threw with all of his might, Vegetto proceeded to evade all of his blows until Gohan got so mad that he powered up a white aura around him. When Gohan uppercuts into Vegetto's stomach, in the end he caught the attack and threw Gohan on the ground. As Gohan becomes outraged as Vegetto retorts that it a fight, Gohan got up and became ready to fight for real upon seeing a prideful look on 'Goku's' face. Feeling like his warriors pride was wounded, Gohan demands Vegetto to transform, which the fused Saiyan declines since he doesn't need to. Punching Gohan in the face until he fell a few feet away, Gohan rushes back and fires a ki blast at Vegetto. When the dust settled with Vegetto no worse for wear with his arms crossed before him, Gohan felt confused since the man before him wielding a victorious smirk couldn't be his father. Going back to the ground and powering down, Gohan tells Vegetto he saw everything he wanted to see as the duel concluded.

As Dende approaches him to take him to Yemma, Vegetto accepts as Dende teleports them before King Yemma. As Vegetto apologizes for increasing King Yemma's workload and it will be the last time, Vegetto asks about his wish to reincarnate Buu. When King Yemma refuses since he no longer Son Goku, but also Vegeta, one of the worst criminals in the universe who has killed just as many people as Goku, Vegetto became so disappointed and angry that he immediately bid the judge farewell and left with Dende. Returning back to the Lookout, Vegetto prepared himself to deal with his family. Several minutes later as the sun began to settle, Vegetto spoke to both Bulma and Chi-Chi in private while commanding Gohan to not join with a glance. After talking for a bit until Bulma asked if he wanted to live with them both, Vegetto borrowed a tic Vegeta bears by frowning and crossing his arms to show he was deep in thought. Confessing he feels like he has a obligation for them both despite his contradictory feelings, he has more feelings for Bulma. As Chi-Chi asks why, Vegetto tells her that he has Goku's love for her, yet Vegeta's deep contempt for her as well. As Chi-Chi became sickened and began yelling at Bulma, Vegetto calms them both down and informs them that he will be living at each others houses for the time being. As Bulma requests teleportation to be used to get between different time zones, Vegetto asks when he will sleep, which Bulma states that Vegeta had a really short sleep where three hours was more than enough since he could spend days in the gravity chamber before needing sleep. When Chi-Chi informs that Goku was a heavy sleeper who needed eight hours minimally, Vegetto remains truthful that he has no idea how his sleeping habits will be like. When Bulma asks who he going with tonight, Vegetto reflected on it as his stomach growled. As an olfactory memory filled with beef stew, vegetables, and warm rice filled his mind, his Goku-half claimed his mind and Vegetto chose Chi-Chi on the simple grounds he is hungry. Pleased, Chi-Chi took Vegetto by the arm and began walking away with him, making Bulma angry since she got the impression that Chi-Chi was trying to steal her husband.

Once they arrived home with Chi-Chi immediately began cooking, Vegetto was drooling until dinner was served. Largely pleasant besides Gohan feeling at unease near Vegetto, the fused Saiyan decided to tell Goten a bedtime story when it was time to sleep. Telling a reimagined version of Vegeta's life, Gohan heard it and began appreciating Vegetto after understanding the pain his Vegeta half went through. Hugging Goten and telling him goodnight while kissing his forehead, Vegetto walked away only to receive a hug from Gohan as well. Telling Vegetto that he loves him and calling him dad, Vegetto felt surprised but smiled at the change of attitude. Gohan then went to bed in a good mood.

At Bulma's...

Waking up early the next day and realized that he takes after Vegeta's sleeping habits by only needing a few hours, his Goku side came alive when his stomach started growling. Getting off the couch and seeing Chi-Chi cooking, Vegetto was told to wait fifteen minutes before it was done. Stretching in a way that Chi-Chi realized wasn't a habit of Goku, she later gave Vegetto some extra clothes that Goku used to wear. Getting undressed before her and noticing that Goku's clothes were too big for him, Vegetto became a bit peeved when Chi-Chi joked that he became smaller upon fusing with Vegeta. As Chi-Chi found Vegetto's reaction comical, Vegetto felt like his pride was hurt and simply crossed his arms as he became red. As Chi-Chi further joked on him, eventually they ate where it was shown that Vegetto ate more properly than Goku. When Gohan and Goten arrived, the meal was largely quiet since Vegetto was too preoccupied with eating. Once finished, Vegetto got up and told everybody goodbye as he then teleported to Bulma's place.

Upon arriving at Capsule Corporation, which the sun was high in the sky, Vegetto went inside of the building and met Bulma in the living room. After greeting each other, Bulma had Vegetto sit down as she decided to cook him a meal. Eager to eat him, Trunks came in and immediately hardened his face upon seeing Vegetto. Walking away, Vegetto felt uncomfortable and wondered how he could make Trunks accept him. As Bulma told him to not worry about, Vegetto promised to see him later as food was finally served. Enjoying the meal, Vegetto thank her once he felt full. Mentally, Vegetto began thinking about how much he liked her physique as Bulma noticed that Vegetto will likely be more inclined to do favors once he been fed, one of Vegeta's habits. Getting up, Vegetto told Bulma he was going to see Trunks as Bulma internally cursed Goku's name for the first time in her life due to his faithful personality shining through Vegetto. Quickly finding Trunks in his room playing with robots, the boy quickly tells Vegetto to leave. Signing, Vegetto tries to tell Trunks that he still his father, but Trunks screams at him that he not. In silence for a quick second out of surprise, Vegetto calmly tells Trunks that while it true he is Goku, but also Vegeta too. As Trunks persisted that he wasn't his father, when Vegetto asks why, Trunks tells him that 'Vegeta" doesn't have a dimwit look like he does, let alone his personality and being hundreds of times stronger than Vegetto. Telling Vegetto that he just a shadow of Vegeta and never wishes to see him again, Vegetto caught Trunks by the shoulders and looked directly in his eyes. Allowing his inner Vegeta to manifest through him as Trunks felt all the sadness and anger he created in Vegetto, the fused Saiyan told Trunks in Vegeta's spirit that he sacrificed himself by doing the last thing he ever wanted to do; forever merging with Goku to ensure his and Bulma's survival. Telling Trunks to never talk to him like that ever again or he would give him a hard time, Trunks eyes widened in shock as he began to shake and cry. Briefly wondering if releasing his "Vegetish' wrath was a good thing, quickly softness surpassed his harshness and hugged Trunks. As both enjoyed the hugging, Vegetto spent a quarter of a hour calming Trunks, whom was at peace as Vegetto was feeling too many emotions. As both felt embarrassed that they didn't even know what to say, eventually Vegetto asks Trunks if he wanted to go to the gravity chamber like in the old days. Trunks accepted, and thus both headed over there.

Vegetto training with Trunks

Now inside of the gravity chamber, Vegetto set the machine to be fifty times Earth's gravity so that Trunks could still move. As Trunks sagged a bit as Vegetto remained unaffected by it despite feeling the difference, both removed their t-shirts and began warming up by jogging around the chamber, doing push ups and sit ups. Deciding to be more at ease, Trunks transformed into a Super Saiyan, which Vegetto also did, impressing Trunks who now understand how he defeated Majin Buu. Asking Trunks if he wanted to fight, which made Trunks shocked since Vegetto was too strong, Vegetto immediately went back to normal and told him that he won't be using his full force. Telling Trunks that he will take him to the park if he gets hit in the face, Trunks rejoiced at the challenge before flinging himself on Vegetto. Easily parrying a right hook to his face, Vegetto began easily deflecting Trunks long chains of blows before telling him that he too predictable and should try attacking other areas as a distraction. Kicking Trunks in the stomach that he bended over, Vegetto then hit him in the nose that made him both fall back and sob. As Trunks felt hurt, Vegetto told him he did so to illustrate his point, but will still take him to the park. Smiling while walking out of the chamber, Vegetto told him to go clean up, which Trunks obeyed while calling him dad. Slightly sweating himself, Vegetto decided to go to his former bedroom which had a bathroom within it.

Freezing upon walking inside, he saw Bulma wearing revealing clothing while being in bed. Calling him handsome as she got up to meet her slightly aroused target, Vegetto was nearly powerless as she began cuddling against him. Despite being highly attracted to her, Vegetto felt revolted since the Goku within him couldn't allow it. Slightly swallowing his words, Vegetto told Bulma that it was a bit too soon, but she pressed back a bit harder while asking why in a perverted manner. Unable to say anything, Vegetto knew he would yield to her temptations if she continued. When she kissed him, Vegetto immediately reacted and kissed her on the neck. But the moment she said Vegeta's name, Vegetto abruptly stopped and let go of Bulma. Asking her what she called him, leaving Bulma unable to answer, Vegetto became a bit hurt since he felt like that everyone doesn't view him as his own person, but merely as another Goku or Vegeta, neglecting his own needs and feelings. Feeling ashamed, Bulma tells Vegetto that she lost her husband and best friend in all of this, Vegetto wielded a sad face reminiscent to Vegeta's and told her that he's going into exile for a while. As Bulma became frightful that he also had Vegeta's habit of disappearing for long periods at times or Goku's need to meditate if something was wrong, she tried to prevent it by telling him to think about his children. Telling her that they're not his children since they belong to Goku and Vegeta, Bulma lowered her head and asked him when he will be back. Not answering, Vegetto took some clothes out of Vegeta's closet, this time too short, and quickly flew out of the window. As Trunks came in to ask his mother where Vegetto was at, she simply says he is just gone.

Spleen and Ideal

For two months Vegetto has decided to live in the faraway parts of the mountains north of the country. Having no contact with civilization and only eating what he hunted, Vegetto relied on Goku's memories of childhood and Vegeta's awful months alone on a hostile planet as part of his training. Feeling melancholic while deciding to kill a giant fish to be part of his meal, Vegetto got undressed and dove into the water. Finally finding the fish and killing it with a single punch, Vegetto got out of the water and added it to his meal consisting of three deers, five dragons, and two wolves by a campfire. Slowly remembering a memory of Vegeta being with Raditz and Nappa as they conquered a planet for Freeza. Suddenly feeling terribly homesick on the simple fact he has no real life experiences for himself despite being born two months ago, Vegetto greatly disliked the fact he had no memories of his own. Believing that those who surround themselves around Goku and Vegeta were not his own, nor the fact he neither truly of his fusees, Vegetto felt compelled to question why he was born, or even to kill Buu. Not sure what he needed to do since he accomplished his mission in record time, he knows the question has been nagging him for two entire months and understands that this world was meant for Goku and Vegeta, not for him. They had wives, friends, and children to fall back on, but he questioned if they would do the same for him despite being born from them. Thinking they wouldn't manage or have great difficulty accepting him, Vegetto loathed the idea even further that they will always see him as either Goku or Vegeta. Feeling upset at the entire situation, Vegetto began eating until nothing was left. And upon going to sleep, his head was filled with dark thoughts about his predicament.

Vegetto is found by Android 18

When Android 18 felt compelled to find Vegetto due to Vegeta being one of the few friendships she started with, she flew away from the group of friends in search of him. After over a week of continuous searching, she found herself deep in a forest. Feeling so close to nature that he got rid of all of his clothing, Vegetto felt a bit clearer as his personality troubles seemed to lighten up. Christening himself 'Vegetto', the newborn of Goku and Vegeta while being the heir of their memories, he refused to go any further than that. Bending down to take a drink from a river, Vegetto heard brisk walking and saw Android 18 before him. Seeing his disheveled she was due to her hardcore efforts to find him, Android 18 ignored his naked frame and told him to get dressed and why he even out here like this. Having the same sheepish look like Goku, Vegetto told her that it very natural, but she pressed on in why he left to begin with. Being directly faced with the problem that momentarily stopped his ability to think, Vegetto honestly told her that he felt out of place, making Android 18 to look at him in a offended manner since she found it beneath him. Feeling upset since Android 18 wasn't taking his problem seriously and asked why, Android 18 fired back that she has it worse since she not only doesn't have a real name anymore, but doesn't even consider herself human anymore. Remembering the conversation Android 18 had with Vegeta, Vegetto knew that she went through alot to be accepted and felt ashamed at not thinking about that sooner. Telling Android 18 that he needs to find himself since he doesn't want to live through Goku or Vegeta, but as himself since he doesn't want to be a substitute, Android 18 became very serious and tells him that they need to grow adapted to his arrival. Admitting that she too was looking for Vegeta within him, but she knows sees him for who he really is and eventually the others will accept him and he can decide if he wants to take their roles and responsibilities. Deciding to sit down, Vegetto tells her that he needs to carry their legacies, but still needs a bit more time and to tell the others not to worry since he doesn't want to make any hasty decisions. Smiling, Android 18 then flies off and tells the others that he will be back soon.

Vegetto returns from his exile

At some point during one evening at capsule corp, Vegetto appeared before it and saw Trunks and Bulma. Feeling more serene and wiser despite how dirty his clothes were, Vegetto informs Trunks that he was in the Northern Mountains and just needed a change in air. As Trunks laughed at the remark since Vegeta used to do the same thing, Vegetto also smiled as Bulma looked confused. Telling her that they need to talk later, Bulma agreed as Trunks went inside to call Goten. As Bulma tries to apologize, Vegetto tells her that it nothing, shocking her. Informing her that he understands she just lost her husband and best friend, thus paining her greatly, nonetheless he is the merger of them which explains why she is so attracted to him. But telling her that she must accept that he is his own being, she was speechless and unable to answer that though the Son family arrived at that moment. As Gohan and Videl landed before him and stated how worried they were, Vegetto tells them that he fine and shall wait for the others. Wishing to tell something to everyone, ten minutes later Kulilin and Android 18 arrived which the cyborg asks him if he is feeling better. Smiling and telling them that he feels much better, Vegetto thanked Android 18 using body language before asking Gohan how he and Videl arrived so fast. As they both tried to answer, Vegetto confessed that both Goku and Vegeta thought they were already a couple, friendly chatter took place for five minutes until Goten arrived with Chi-Chi. Hugging Goten, Vegetto eventually became serious when everyone was around and told everyone that he truly neither Goku and Vegeta and wants to wipe the slate clean. And to do so, he wishes to really learn everything from each other and to live by himself for a bit and see what happens. When Goten asks that he doesn't want to be his father anymore, Vegetto refutes it that he does, but as Vegetto and not as Goku or Vegeta. As Goten understood while everyone admitted that they didn't see Vegetto as his own person initially, Kulilin asks him what he been doing for so long. Admitting that he been thinking alot and living as a wild man, he confessed that Android 18 found him completely naked. As she blushed and looked away, demanding to not be reminded of that, Vegetto laughed and teased her to not act like that, making everyone laugh but Kulilin since he didn't found it funny. When Bulma told everyone she brought a new flat screen tv and if anybody wanted to see it, they did just so and became amazed by it. When turned on, Mr. Satan appeared and was explaining in a interview on how he defeated Majin Buu. As the interviewer and world celebrated his victory, Vegetto was gaping on the simple grounds Mr. Satan said he did all the work to beat Buu. When Kulilin points out that the same people always get the honors while others get the work, Vegetto asks on why they should allow this, which Gohan chimes in that it may be best if Mr. Satan gets all the glory since problems could arise if they knew they were the real heroes. Not liking that such a 'pathetic loser' is getting all the limelight, Bulma asks him if he wants to take his place, which Vegetto points out that he never said that.

A Day at Bulma's

With three months passed since the 'discussion', things became much easier since both Goku and Vegeta have been "dead" for almost half a year. With everyone accepting the fact and accepted Vegetto as his own person while liking his qualities, he it proven he indeed has inherited Goku's patience and kindness while he gained Vegeta's touchiness and peculiar humor. And per obligations, Vegetto always goes to the Son family every two days to take care of them. But now at Capsule Corporation, Vegetto calls Goten and Trunks to hurry up since they will be going to the theme park and informs Bulma that they will be back before dinner. As Bulma asks them to be careful, Vegetto ensures her they will before he kisses her on the lips, greatly surprising her. Telling her that he will see her tonight while inwardly cursing the habits of his progenitors for making such a rash decision, he quickly flies off along with Goten and Trunks to further avoid inner math debates. Forgetting everything once in the air, the wind on his face calmed him down as he unintentionally smiled. At the same time Bulma felt puzzled on why Vegetto kissed her, theorizing on why he did so.

When night came, Vegetto and the boys appeared before Bulma and Videl, with the former Vegetto became flustered but didn't show it. Telling Goten and Trunks to go inside and take a shower, Vegetto admitted to the two women that he did had fun with them. When Videl said goodbye, Vegetto was asked by Bulma about the kiss, which he admitted he did so because he wanted to. Further explaining that he made up his mind long ago though admits that he needed both her and Chi-Chi to know him more, he asks if he loves him or not. When Bulma tells him that she is attracted to him as well, a ideal mix of Goku and Vegeta, but it only been three months since he returned and may need more time. As Vegetto agreed, and tells him that he will be more than happy to wait.

Sometime afterwards, Bulma later calls Vegetto on his personal cellphone and informs him that Goten may have informed Chi-Chi of some things like their developing relationship due to Chi-Chi earlier calling Bulma in rage. Telling her that he will deal with it, he hung up and immediately teleported before Chi-Chi. Asking her what wrong, she quickly sobbed and hugged him, telling him to not abandon them in fear they will be neglected once he started dating Bulma. Telling her that they are family and would never do such a thing, he dries her tears and tells her to stop crying. Feeling better, she proposes to cook him food, which he happily accepts. Waiting on the couch as she started cooking, Vegetto and her began talking about many things which included his day with Goten and Trunks, the good weather of the summer, the high prices in the city, and the weird animals Goten likes to catch. As both highly enjoyed their conversations with each other, in one hour the meal was ready. Prepared to eat, though the boys weren't here yet, Vegetto used telepathy to inform them to come back quickly. When they arrived five minutes later, Vegetto and the family began to eat with Vegetto devouring everything at a rapid pace. As everyone became stunned when Vegetto asks for his seventh plate, which there was none left, Gohan asks him if he was alright. Admitting that he still hungry and always feels hungrier each time, Chi-Chi advises he goes to Bulma's to have another meal. Getting up, he promises to come back tomorrow to spend the day with them before teleporting away.

Appearing before Bulma and asking for a meal, she reluctantly agrees. But in one hour later the same situation happens, so Bulma advises he goes see Dende for help. Promising to see her in two days, Vegetto teleports to the lookout and meets Dende and Piccolo. As Dende informs him that he knows what going on with him, but has yet to find a solution since earth food is no longer able to sustain him anymore. Needing to know what he needs to do in fear of starving to death, Vegetto began panicking since it the dumbest way he could ever go out after all the dangers he went through. When Piccolo advises he goes to Korin's to get a senzu bean, Vegetto finds the idea to be great and immediately goes to him. Already waiting for Vegetto and being aware of the situation, Korin tells him he has three senzu beans and throws one to him. Feeling much better after swallowing the bean, Vegetto asks if he could have another, Korin gives him the second which he quickly eats. Thanking Korin while feeling much better, Vegetto becomes stumped when Korin asks what he will do for each meal from now on. Asking Korin if they could grow more beans, Korin tells him that he will think about it, but in the meantime go back home and will immediately contact him once he finds a solution. Vegetto then left, worried what will happen to him since he now been betrayed by food.

When We're Not in the Mood

Revealed to be living in his own apartment after his rather recent exile, he will still deciding who to live with even though Bulma is paying for his temporary establishment. Living in a modern place in Satan City suburbs, only a bed, a chest for drawers, and a green plant was in it. Rarely in it anyhow, Bulma insisted he got a table and chairs just in case. Nonetheless, Vegetto predominantly used it to meditate when he needed to be alone and appreciated that his neighbors weren't noisy. But today, feeling the weight of loneliness that twisted fear into his stomach, Vegetto felt breathless that dying from hunger was a very real possibility now. Fearing death for the first time in his existence since he wanted a normal life, Vegetto hoped Korin would find a solution as his stomach began to rumble. Noting that hunger and hospitals are among his greatest fears, Vegetto decided to call Bulma and Chi-Chi to keep him posted. When Bulma answered while cooking, Vegetto informed her that he went to Dende and Korin and that only senzu beans can curb his hunger. Relieved that they work and they now know that he needs to always have them on hand, Bulma asks him if Korin can increase his crops, Vegetto informs that they have to wait and see on what he can do. Telling Bulma that he hates waiting without doing anything since he got it from Vegeta, Bulma offers him something to eat, which he refuses since paradoxically he now has a knot in his stomach. When the call ended since Vegetto needed to call Chi-Chi as Bulma began cooking, the new conversation happened and Vegetto informed Chi-Chi everything. Feeling gloomy throughout the call until it ended, Vegetto sat down and immediately heard his stomach gurgling. Not feeling like eating despite his body ordering him to, Vegetto knows that being a Saiyan meant he likes to eat for pleasure, so thus wasn't attracted to it when it wasn't involved. Allowing his mind to wonder on his couch, the fused Saiyan began to feel weaker as hunger coursed through him. Clogging his own ears to dispel the sounds his stomach was making, Vegetto still heard it and immediately thought about the offers of food both Chi-Chi and Bulma made. But with his limbs feeling to heavy or not having the desire to eat anything, Vegetto realized he likely inherited Goku's particular trait to weaken excessively if he didn't eat.

Hearing his phone ring, Vegetto picked it up and heard Kulilin, asking him to come over to have dinner with his family. Feeling happy to see both Kulilin and Android, two of his best friends despite not feeling like eating, Vegetto accepted before teleporting to Kame House. Appearing before the family and smiling from ear to ear, Kulilin offered him to sit down and they began eating chicken and coconut milk. Enjoying the taste as Kulilin admitted that Bulma offered for them to come to help him ease his mind with company and eat good food, Vegetto proceeded to eat more than a dozen dishes in a row. Having a definite good time that indeed cheered him up, a few hours later he went back home and slept really well despite still being hungry.

The next day, about to go over to Chi-Chi's as he promised, Vegetto received a telepathic message from King Kaio regarding his hunger problem. Informed to go to the Lookout, Vegetto teleported there to meet both Dende and Piccolo. Smiling at them that a solution has been found, both Kibitoshin and Old Kaioshin appeared at the vicinity. As Old Kaioshin informs them that they won't be staying for long, he tells Vegetto that he will need a enormous amount of senzu beans that Earth cannot provide. Needing another planet that both uninhabited and suitable for growing senzu beans, they found a good option that a few light years away from Earth. As Vegetto lightly panicked on how they will get there, Kibitoshin informs him that they will teach him the Instantaneous Movement, though first they want to show him his new planet. Smiling since he believed he will be able to learn it in a short amount of time, Old Kaioshin interrupts his thoughts since a senzu bean needs a single year to grow, which may be exacerbated since he will also need time to learn how to teleport and find people to help him cultivate he planet. Horrified that he may be hungry for a entire year, Vegetto began to feel weary but Kibitoshin grabs his shoulder and ells him that they need to go now to see the planet. Telling them they he first needs to inform his family, everyone agrees and touches Vegetto as he teleports to Capsule Corporation.

Appearing before Bulma, startling her since so many people appeared, he tells her to call Chi-Chi for him since he has to tell everyone something. Half a hour later she and her two sons arrived, Vegetto tells them that he will be leaving for a while to learn a new technique in the Kaioshin realm while also plant senzu beans on another planet to ensure his survival. When Trunks asks how he will plant senzus, Vegetto states he may need to hire people but has to think more carefully about it. When Gohan asks if he thought about using aliens, Vegetto informs him that he will think about it after the first harvest. When asked if he could farm, Vegetto says since his Goku-half knows how to sprinkle, plant, and extract. Scratching his head when asked if he knows the best methods and qualities to farm, eventually he calms both Bulma and Chi-Chi when they began to argue among themselves. Telling them to not fight since Chi-Chi will teach him the best methods once he knows the teleportation move, Vegetto quickly waves them goodbye once Kibitoshin informed them that they have to go, thus he and the two Kaioshin teleport away.

Kibitoshin's Technique

Vegetto meditating

Sitting on the ground of the Kaioshin homeworld, Vegetto carefully listened to Kibitoshin on how the technique worked. Told it similar to the instant transmission technique before being asked how he uses it, Vegetto informs him that he concentrates to find the ki, locates it, and then visualizes himself next to his point of interest by hurling his ki to that direction. Looking at the sky, a habit when he was deep in thought, Vegetto was told that the new move is the same process and will likely learn it in about a week. Believing that three days will more than be enough, Kibitoshin believes in Vegetto and instructs him to meditate since the technique is entirely based on mental strength. Smiling at the god while closing his eyes, Vegetto relaxed his features and emptied his mind. A few hours of doing this, Vegetto felt his mind was at full force and felt prepared for the task. Noticing it, Kibitoshin tells him that he will need to visualize a place instead of feeling a strength. Instructing Vegetto to appear next to a rock, but take his time, the fused Saiyan closed his eyes and attempted the exercise. Seeing the rock in his head and channeling his ki, Vegetto attempts the move to only realize he hadn't moved at all. Signing in disappointment as Kibitoshin tells him to not worry, he asks Vegetto on how he finds his way back to his apartment. Confessing that he always senses the ki of his neighbors, Vegetto attempts the exercise again for the next few hours. When his stomach began growling, disturbing his peace of mind, Kibitoshin points at a cabin where he could cook a meal. Asking if he needs his assistance, Vegetto's pride made him refuse to accept the offer despite never cooking himself, always relying on either Bulma or Chi-Chi. Telling him that he'll manage, Vegetto flew towards the cabin and became silent since he has never cooked in a day in his life. Not wanting to bother the Kaioshin, Vegetto took all the food from the freezer and ate them in their initial state. Both resigned and frustrated, Vegetto went back to his meditating spot but became unable to empty his mind since his stomach began to painfully rumble again. Trying to rationalize that he must endure it for a whole year, Vegetto knew that difficult days would be ahead as Kibitoshin looked at him with a worried expression.

The next day, Vegetto was still meditating as Kibitoshin finished restocking the cabin. Not feeling at ease while wishing to talk to both Bulma and Chi-Chi, Wishing to tell Chi-Chi about his true feelings to Bulma and his desire to move in with her, though not wanting to rush things was holding him back, Vegetto couldn't meditate properly since his mind was heavy with thoughts. Annoyed since the thoughts were starting to consume his head, Vegetto shook it and vowed that once he masters this technique he shall fix the whole situation. With the resolution freeing him from his burdens, Vegetto once again attempted his teleportation but failed to move. When Kibitoshin offered some advice, Vegetto declined as he relaxed his muscles to perform another attempt. As Kibitoshin deduced that Vegetto didn't want any help since both Cell and Buu learned teleportation from sheer observation, Vegetto tried to 'feel' the rock instead of just visualizing it. Managing to move ten meters, Kibitoshin congratulated him, making Vegetto smile as he attempted another teleportation from his original spot. When Vegetto eventually went to empty the pantry, Kibitoshin believed that if he wasn't so hungry he would have likely already mastered the technique by now.

When the next day arrived, Vegetto was able to teleport five meters away from the rock. Instructed to appear less than a meter away before doing something harder, Vegetto concentrated with all of his might and successfully performed the task. When instructed to move less than three meters away from the food cabin, Vegetto boasted that it was easy but ultimately appeared a dozen meters away from it. Disappointed but instructed to take his time until he can perform the task until they do something harder, Vegetto asks what he means, which Kibitoshin informs him that they will have him try to teleport back to his apartment, a area out of the god realm. Swallowing since he knew his troubles were far from over, Vegetto tries again and manages to only be four meters away from the cabin. Feeling infuriated since he isn't reaching the limits as instructed, Kibitoshin tells him to think positive despite Vegetto not feeling so since they been training for over a whole day. Concentrating again and seeing that the move was much harder than what he had thought since the further the subject, the more energy he used and hungrier he became. Trying again and failing, Kibitoshin told him to take a break as he will make him food. Interrupting him that he will succeed and has to deal with being hungry since he has a whole year to get used to it, the three days are almost gone and hasn't mastered the move yet. Wanting to learn it before taking lunch, Kibitoshin respected it as Vegetto restarted his training.

Putting his fingers to his forehead to make another attempt, Vegetto suddenly felt feint as his stomach ached from the hunger. Needing nutrients but unable to ask the Kaioshin since he just turned down his offer, Vegetto told himself to learn to live with it and attempted before everything went black. Upon painfully opening his eyes, Vegetto saw Kibitoshin standing over him with a worried expression as the Saiyan's vision was still quite blurry. When asked if he was alright, Vegetto noticed he had a headache on top of his stomach ache. Seeing seventeen different dishes before him, Vegetto heard Kibitoshin asking him to eat, Vegetto began eating while thanking him. Still not full, Vegetto attempted again and was only two meters away from the cabin. When asked to either rest for the remaining day or try the hardest part of the training a few times, Vegetto chose the latter which was to appear in the living room of his apartment. Despite feeling less certain of himself due to the risks involved, Vegetto concentrated and teleported before coming back. When asked how it went, Vegetto informed him that he ended up at the corridor of the apartments.

Vegetto allowing his anger to explode

Congratulated that it still a accomplishment, Vegetto roared that it wasn't good enough since his performance is mediocre in terms of concentrating. Freeing his ki, Vegetto became a Super Saiyan that threw the Kaioshin away while angrily exclaiming that he sick of being in the shadows of his progenitors, the responsibilities, spending time with both families and their issues, and ultimately the lack of energy from being hungry. Becoming a Super Saiyan 2 that blinded Kibitoshin, Vegetto exclaims that all he wants is to live in peace, yet cannot even do any bad in his life since time is so limited. Believing that he doesn't deserve any of this, Vegetto wants to 'chuck everything out' since he fed up with the troubles, families, and constant hunger. Screaming while increasing his power to a level that truly unequal, Vegetto glared at Kibitoshin as he slowly approached the fused Saiyan, amazed by his power. Pleading Vegetto to clam down since it normal to not master the technique straight away, Vegetto slowly relaxed his muscles as his hair returned to being black. Laying down in the area he been sleeping the last three days without saying a word, Kibitoshin processed everything that occurred.

The next day, as Kibitoshin began to panic since he woke up without finding Vegetto, the Saiyan suddenly appeared and informed the Kaioshin that he successfully did the technique. Relieved, Kibitoshin told him that he will show him the planet after they have their meal, which made Vegetto nod. Eating twenty-two different dishes, Vegetto allowed Kibitoshin to teleport them both to the planet. Seeing a vast plain that was utterly beautiful to behold, Vegetto shyly asked the god if this is where he would be growing his senzu beans, which he confirmed.

Unburdened

Unable to believe it since this planet that unparalleled in beauty was now his, his trail of thoughts were interrupted when the Kaioshin spoke. Told that the soil is rich with the air being as pure as the Kaioshin homeworld, they are the first sentient beings to step foot on it with little risk for it to be discovered by others. When also told that he could grow about one million senzu beans per year [likely 2740 beans per day], Vegetto found it awesome as he was in sheer awe. When the god told him to memorize the place since they will come back later, engraved the place in his memory as they left. Back in the god's realm, Vegetto asked if he could go back home, which he was approved of since the fused Saiyan needs to fix whatever he has with his families before coming back to inform them on what plan he has for his planet. Agreeing, Vegetto smiled to his master before disappearing to the living room of capsule corp.

Appearing before Bulma and winking at her, she threw herself on him while asking him various questions. Politely interrupting her by saying only one question at a time, Vegetto told her that he was done and both hungry and has many things to share with her. Going to the kitchen and explaining the last four days to her, fifteen dishes were prepared in two hours. When seated, Vegetto informs her that he has something important to tell her, which is about love. Having a few months of life underneath his belt, Vegetto now knows what he wants and who to love, which is to love her, not from his Vegeta half but as him. Also informing her that he wants to live with her and have a relationship in the open, Bulma grabbed his hands and told him that she felt the same way. Asking her if she okay if he still left every two days and his 'husband' status with Chi-Chi, she admitted that it was nothing and will still have him the other day. Smiling at her and realizing that Vegeta wasn't home often when he was still alive, later the evening they called everyone to come over to inform everyone of their announcement. After everyone showed up in one hour and was in the living room, Vegetto told them all the he has decided on Bulma as the love of his life. When Chi-Chi was asked if she was okay with it, she admitted so since he too much like Vegeta in a joking manner. Later on as the evening became quiet with a good atmosphere and good food, Vegetto with a more serious tone told them about his planet. Admitting he will need help in the beginning, he wants Chi-Chi to help delimit the fields as the boys help him sow. As Chi-Chi happily agrees as Bulma promises to take care of the salaries, Vegetto smiled at everyone as they wished to help out. As everyone left, Android 18 gave Vegetto a wink, making the fused Saiyan to giggle and wave her off.

Later on Vegetto attempts to go to bed with one less burden on his mind. Seeing Bulma in it and suggested for him to come by her, Vegetto went in it despite feeling nervous. As she started caressing him, it lead to a long and intense night. When morning came, Vegetto smiled upon remembering the events from the previous evening, Vegetto kissed her forehead that woke her up. Upon getting up, he told her that he was going to visit Kibitoshin. Back in the god's realm, he stood before the god and smiled at him. When asked on how he was going to take care of his planet, Vegetto told him that he and his family will be there for a unlimited amount of time to take care of the plants, installations, everything else in-between. When asked on when he was going to leave, Vegetto informed him as soon as possible since the sooner it done, the later he will starve. Understanding and wishing Vegetto the best of luck since he has mastered the superior teleportation technique, Vegetto put a firm hand on Kibitoshin's shoulder and gave him a sincere thank you. Upon leaving the godly realm, Old Kaioshin told Kibitoshin that he doesn't seem to be evil, though both agreed his power is frightening. Appearing before Bulma, Vegetto informed her via body language that they can go to the planet. Realizing that both Goten and Trunks were eavesdropping on their conversation, Vegetto called them out, noting that he could feel their power no matter how reduced it was. When Goten happily asks when they are going, Vegetto informs them as soon as possible once everyone has been summoned before telling them that he counting on them to retrieve them, or should he call them instead. Wanting to be counted on, both boys rushed out, making Vegetto to tell Bulma that they will now have two hours of peace.

When everyone arrived besides Gohan, whom was with Videl in Satan City, Chi-Chi tells Vegetto to go fetch him. Nodding, Vegetto sensed his son's energy and teleported to him. Appearing in Videl's apartment, Vegetto immediately became baffled as he saw the two teenagers about to get intimate, embarrassing them both. Apologizing since he never thought he would catch them on the verge of that, he became grateful he didn't arrive ten minutes later. Asking them both if they want to come to his new planet, they agreed and left Videl's room as she prepared. Wanting to break the ice, Vegetto apologized to Gohan for interrupting such a moment, which Gohan forgave him for. Still forgiving Gohan since it would have been his first time, the Saiyan hybrid became even more embarrassed as Videl finally arrived. Teleporting back to Capsule Corp, when asked what would be the name of his new planet, Vegetto informed them that it name will be "Last Hope". As everyone liked the name, they all grabbed Vegetto's shoulders as he teleported to the planet.

Discovery of a New Environment

Appearing in the middle of a meadow, all became breathless at how beautiful it was. As Goten and Trunks began to explore the region, Vegetto and the others began setting up camp until everything was ready. When Chi-Chi spread a large map across a table, Vegetto asks her on what she means on how they are going to divide the planet in half. When she answers him, Vegetto answers her question that they will be using tools instead of machines throughout the entire procedure. Agreeing with Chi-Chi's plans and noting that it will be easy to classify the rivers on the planet, he sees Bulma revealing her new probing plane. Impressed on what the device could do, he thanks her and agrees to have him and the boys throw each one high in the sky to make the scanning easier and faster. Vegetto then listens to Bulma and Chi-Chi talk about the new invention.

A Busy Time Table

Sitting at the table as Gohan and Videl arrived, Chi-Chi asks why they were late, making both teenagers blush as Bulma chimes in that they just starting eating but Vegetto refused to go fetch them. Vegetto answered Gohan with a simple wink and broad smile, making the Saiyan hybrid blush as Videl laugh since it obvious he knows what they were doing. Bulma then took advantage of everyone's attention by announcing their plans for the planet. As Vegetto and everyone who can fly signed heavily when they knew they they will have to fly around the world in twenty minutes to make the probing machines work, they resume eating with Vegetto eating more than usual. When everyone left again but Vegetto, Bulma, and Chi-Chi, the fused Saiyan began speaking and laughing with Chi-Chi as Bulma also left to explore. Telling a funny tale on how Goten had to give up a dog to it owner, soon Vegetto became serious and told Chi-Chi that if she planned on getting remarried, but before he could continue Chi-Chi tells him that she won't since Goku was her only true love. Smiling at her while admiring her strength and independence, he got up and stretched before telling her that if she wanted to come with him to explore the planet. When she got in his arms, they flew away. Laughing while wishing to go higher, Vegetto obeyed before they eventually reached a lake. Flying over it and having a good time, eventually they landed on a flat rock to gaze upon the sun in the horizon. Watching it until it left, Vegetto grabbed Chi-Chi before flying back to the camp, knowing their bond was stronger. As Gohan and the others came back and saw Vegetto and Chi-Chi laughing together, eventually everyone went to bed.

Now morning, Vegetto found Bulma already up who now had a completed map of the planet in her hands thanks to her machines. When asked what names he will give to each country, Vegetto chose 'Porunga', 'Shenron', 'Korin', 'Dende', 'Popo', and 'Piccolo'. As Bulma laughed at him, which Vegetto admitted he has no imagination, he decided to call the big forest 'Gohan' and the smaller ones 'Goten', 'Trunks', and 'Kulilin'. Deciding to call the single ocean simply as 'Ocean', the two big valleys would be named 'Bulma' and 'Chi-Chi'. Also naming the two mountains 'Goku' and 'Vegeta', Vegetto stated he doesn't want to waste too much time on the names and found the ones he chose to be good enough. When called lazy, Vegetto smiled at her as he put the pen down he used to write the names on the map. A few hours later when everyone was up and ready to work, Bulam recapped what everyone's job will be.

Hunger Crisis - Resolution

Despite Vegetto being brought to the brink of death, after a full year, the first Senzu Beans finally grew, starting a cycle of cultivation that would ensure Vegetto's survival. After surviving such a terrible ordeal, Vegetto was brought before the Old Kaioshin, who confronted the Saiyan with his responsibility of being the universe's guardian brought by his incredible power. Vegetto was hard to convince, since he had both Goku's sense of justice and Vegeta's sense of Saiyan pride. Although he was reluctant, he eventually accepted the Old Kaioshin's request.

Later on, Vegetto had a child with Bulma, Bra. Vegetto, not being occupied with the training of Uub like Goku of Universe 18, had more time for personal training with his daughter. He also trained his granddaughter, Pan. Many of these training sessions seem to have involved bringing his children with him to planets engaged in armed conflict, one of which failed as the aliens recognized Vegetto before he could depart and let Bra handle the situation. Entrusting Gohan as protector of the Earth, Vegetto leaves to battle cosmic threats which include the Immortal of Pandora, the Universal Mafia, and even Hildegan.

Because of Vegetto's frequent absence, the Earth and the Son-Briefs family were often in danger due to countless other alien villains arriving to try and take revenge on Vegetto through his family, or to kidnap his loved ones and use them against him. The actions of Gohan, Goten, and Trunks prevented any terrible outcomes of this.

Bra's Problem

At some point Vegetto was seen to be lightly sparring against both Bra and Pan as Gohan is inside the house reading a book.

In Age 784, Vegetto is on a red Saturn-like planet and senses his six-year old daughter Bra's malevolent ki, who is now a Super Saiyan fighting against Gohan on Earth. Somewhat startled, Vegetto says "Say what?" out loud. Initially concerned about the predicament, a convicted ogre-like alien asks if he has any problems, but Vegetto tells him that it is his daughter, though he's confident his son will take care of it. When Bra was defeated and taken to the Lookout to be healed by Dende, Vegetto teleports to the Lookout and tells Bra she has a self-control problem to take care of. Sometime later upon entering the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Vegetto sternly tells Bra to become a Super Saiyan. When she says she can't unless anger is involved, Vegetto tells her that is the problem and explains why controlling it is a necessity after the first transformation. After verbally noting that there is no risk involved with getting angry here for training purposes, Vegetto then begins to think of several ways to get Bra mad. When 10 minutes pass by in the real world (thus equaling to two and a half days in the chamber), Vegetto angrily storms out while calling Bra a stupid brat. After going on a tantrum that she doesn't listen or cooperate, and actively makes everything harder, Vegetto proclaims that he gives up before using Instant Transmission to teleport to an unknown location to vent his frustrations, much to Bulma's disappointment.

When Gohan finishes training Bra, Vegetto and everybody else listens to Bra apologizing for putting the Earth in jeopardy. When she finished, Vegetto challenges her to fight transformed against the most annoying person ever, which he reveals is Gotenks. When the battle intensifies with Gotenks also being a Super Saiyan, Vegetto listens to Bulma telling the fused warrior to be careful and go easy on Bra. After silently watching them fight for a little while longer, Vegetto begins to react when Bra creates a powerful move to use against Gotenks, but Gohan intervenes and tells him to wait. When Bra proves the entire technique to be a folly just to humiliate Gotenks, Vegetto intervenes and stops Gotenks from killing Bra with a powerful Kamehameha he was about to unleash. Life then seemingly goes back to normal when Gohan concludes the sparring match.

Quadruple Mission

In Age 790, being assigned to another mission by the Kaioshins, Vegetto is surprised that a new enemy appeared. Old Kaioshin berates Vegetto for being happy since it will be very dangerous due to many evil masterminds joining together to create a warrior powerful enough to challenge Vegetto. Old Kaioshin goes on to explain that they locked down four key locations which need to be infiltrated at the same time. When Vegetto points out that he can do it very fast, Elder refutes that it they need to infiltrate simultaneously. When Vegetto attempts to bring up the Dragon Balls, Elder quickly shuts him down. The next day, with a team assembled, Vegetto explains to them all that each group will go to a different location, with himself being alone. After telling Gohan that he'll be with Old Kaioshin, he asks Videl why she was here, and she responds that it looked like fun. When questioning her and Gohan's clothing choices, he is slightly dismayed by the duo's response and immediately points at the next group. After informing Pan and Trunks that they will be with Kibitoshin, he states the last group will be Bra with Goten. With everything set, Vegetto tells them all to get into position. With two fingers to his head, Vegetto locates an energy signature. Upon teleporting, Vegetto lands in a water of water underneath daylight as all adjacent bases immediately teleport. Still in a body of water, Vegetto is now in a dark environment.

Realizing that he's in a cubic kilometer of magic water in outer space, Vegetto becomes annoyed as he questions why he got the underwater location. Upon hearing his name, Vegetto looks up to see a shadowy figure proclaiming that it is his end and it cannot be destroyed since it is within his head. It then tells him that he has to defeat his greatest fear to get out of this illusion. Revealing itself as "Son Bra", she states that she is the fear of his own daughter that is now governed by evil. Unfazed, Vegetto punches her in the face before answering her question that he's fine with hitting her since it's just an illusion. He then watches her transforming into a Super Saiyan 3. Finding the battle interesting and also transforming into Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto engages in a violent melee with her before successfully hitting her face. Illusion Bra then fires a ki blast at Vegetto. Using his legs to ride on the blast as she appears behind him, Vegetto uses the momentum to fling the attack at her. As a explosion occurs, Vegetto is seen to be losing air. Still alive, the Illusion Bra states that he lost since he was about to run out of air, Vegetto creates a super explosive wave to destroy both the magic water and the illusion. Alone in space, Vegetto proclaims that "Whether it's magic, technology, or anything else, pure power can defeat anything.", and also notes that the illusion would have to be at least 1000 times stronger to defeat him.

After Bra unlocked her Super Saiyan 2 transformation and mercilessly killed the three warriors, Goten, the Jaykal homeworld, and the solar system by damaging the nearby sun enough to make it go supernova while laughing manically. Vegetto knocks her out and she later wakes up. Standing before her on a asteroid, the solar system burns around them due to Bra's recklessness. Vegetto asks Bra if she remembers anything, which she responds that she doesn't remember anything other than she won. Vegetto angrily informs her that she destroyed the entire planet along with Goten. With the sun now going supernova, Vegetto informs her that it will engulf them in a few minutes. Vegetto's begins to shake with anger as he sternly tells her that all of this is utterly unacceptable. He tells her that she became a even worse monster than when she first unlocked the Super Saiyan transformation, she is once again out of control and not even Gohan can control her anymore.

As Bra was about to happily state that she finally surpassed Gohan, Vegetto interrupts her by telling her to "shut up" and darkly informs her that he is the only person left that can stop her. Vegetto is disappointed that she is becoming more of a power crazed manic like Broly than becoming a opponent worthy of him, Vegetto reiterates his promise to the Kaioshin to keep the universe safe. Vegetto then states that, one day, Bra would surpass him, and before that day comes, Vegetto would kill her if she could not learn to control herself. He orders Bra to find her way back to Earth to use the Dragon Balls to fix all of this, Vegetto then teleports away, leaving a crying Bra who can't locate Earth.

Other Events

At one point, Vegetto forbids Bra from ever using Super Saiyan 2 again. And alongside Bra, eventually they both trained to master ki constructs after following Gotenks example.

At some point, Vegetto and the others were approached by the Vargas to participate in the Multiverse Tournament as 'Universe 16'. They accepted the invitation.

First Round: Uub and Buu get the Honors

As Universe 18 ventures into Universe 16 where Goku openly questions if he died in this universe, Vegetto appears in the doorway while still being cloaked in the shadows. Ominously answering Goku's question that their two universes separated the moment he appeared, he fully exposes himself and asks Goku on how did he and Vegeta defeated Buu if they didn't merge to become him. As both Goku and Vegeta become shocked to see their fused form, Vegetto realizes that they trapped Buu in Uub's body and asks on how they did that. Before Goku could explain, the announcer excitedly states that it time for Uub to fight against Tidar from Universe 19.

In the novelization, Vegetto is shown talking to Buu (U4) about the tournament proceedings where Vegetto warns him not to cheat and plot the next fight between them, or else Vegetto will forfeit and leave.

While watching the battle between Cell and Dabra, Vegetto openly states next to Bra that everyone should know it it utterly impossible for the likes of Cell to have not improve in 27 years since his tournament.

First Round: Pan's First Fight to the Death

Vegetto was seen to be silently standing behind Pan when her match was called against Bojack. Vegetto is seen again as Videl cheers for Pan when she successfully landed a Kamehameha on Bojack. Vegetto is present when Gohan ominously states that the real fight is only beginning as Bojack rises to his feet. When Pan is choking to death at the hands of Bojack, Vegetto is visibly disturbed while remaining silent. He then witnesses Pan's death, which made Videl break down in a crying fit. As Videl tries to catch Pan's discarded body, Vegetto witnesses Gohan catching her instead. When Bra goes Super Saiyan and attempts to charge at Bojack in the name of vengeance, Vegetto catches her shoulder. Reprimanding her by calmly saying that Piccolo is right, he advises her that they will be sent back to their universe and Pan wouldn't be resurrected if they allowed her to seek vengeance. He then directs her attention to Gohan, whom is backing down despite his legendary rage. With those words, he tells her to not go into her usual tantrums. Vegetto then listens to Bra telling Gohan that Bojack must die and would gladly do it herself. He quickly then sees Bra submitting to Gohan after he allows his power to burst forth.

During lunch time, Vegetto is happily seen to be eating with his family. When Piccolo asks him on who he thinks will win, Vegetto nonchalantly says himself. When Piccolo adds that nobody worries him, including Zen Buu from Universe 4, Vegetto notes that he will be the most dangerous opponent among the lot, but still feels confident that he can handle him.

As Bra asks him about Broly since he making such a big fuss about him, Vegetto tells her while eating noodles that his power has been growing nonstop over the years, which produced a terrifying power that easily makes him one of the strongest around since it just one brutal and enormous level of strength. Still eating, Vegetto adds that he will definitely be sent back since he will likely attack the audience first. When Goten asks that he can't beat him, Vegetto replies that he can unless he isn't his first opponent. Simultaneously the announcer states that the tournament will commence in ten minutes and it will be between Vegetto and Broly, which causes a comical reaction among many members of the group as Vegetto looks on in confusion.

When Broly is released and unleashes his full power, Vegetto smirks at the power he is facing against.

First Round: The Terrifying Power of the Legendary Super Saiyan

As Broly is chasing after Goku, Vegetto's Spirit Sword intercepts the Legendary Saiyan. Floating above the arena while maintaining his attack, Vegetto flattens his hair to mimic Goku's while proclaiming himself to be the real Kakarotto, which immediately catches Broly's attention. As Broly comes after him, Vegetto proclaims "at last" while transforming into the first Super Saiyan state. Dodging Broly's punch that obliterates a good chunk of the arena, Vegetto quickly lands behind Broly. Ruthlessly kicking Broly in the face, Vegetto consecutively lands successive strikes across Broly's entire body. When both of his fists get caught, Vegetto receives a mean knee strike to his gut.

Vegetto's Big Bang Attack

Coughing up spittle, Vegetto then receives a double haymaker over his head, forcing him to fly through a large chunk of the arena and comically rub his head in pain. As Broly flies after him while screaming Kakarotto's name, Vegetto evades him before backhanding him hard across the face. Dodging Broly's punch, Vegetto grabs his arm before flinging him towards a giant piece of the arena. Using instant transmission, Vegetto appears behind Broly while being in a firing stance, which alerts Broly. Firing his Big Bang Attack, it completely engulfs Broly as an mighty explosion occurs.

Slightly sweating, Vegetto tells Broly to come on since he knows that he wants more of this battle as the dust slowly disappears. When Broly proclaims himself to be the legendary warrior while powering up his aura to the point his strength doubles, Vegetto demands him to show his true power as he braces for impact. Quickly Vegetto receives a brutal punch to the face before getting slammed across his entire body, losing blood in the process.

Punched one final time, Vegetto falls and hits the ground, creating a small geyser in the process. Vegetto then seemingly appears to have lost, not moving out from the crater. However Vegetto suddenly blasts out with his aura blazing, proud to state that for the first time since his fusion he can show his true power. Powering up, Vegetto explodes in a blinding light.

Now in the Super Saiyan 2 state, Vegetto says it now round two before avoiding Broly's punch. Kicking Broly's face and punching it several times, Vegetto's head is grabbed by Broly before receiving a deadly headbutt. Getting clobbered a few more times, Vegetto saves himself by kicking Broly's chin before backing away. Quickly rushing back in to punch Broly's face, Vegetto too gets hit before they start hitting each other consecutively. Flailing on each other nonstop as Vegeta notes that their more powerful than all of them combined or Gohan pointing out that Vegetto has never fought in the second state before even against Bra, both Vegetto and Broly prepare a powerful punch against their adversary. Violently colliding that a small explosion occurred, both remained in a standstill.

First Round: Vegetto's Last Resources

The entire stadium becomes absolutely shocked at the scale Vegetto and Broly are fighting in, amazed at the level of destruction their fists caused. Grinding his teeth hard from the exchange, Vegetto witnesses Broly charging up his Omega Blaster. Realizing the danger, Vegetto quickly backs away and charges up his Big Bang Kamehameha as Broly fires his blast. Vegetto then fires as many contestants embrace for impact. When their attacks collide, a massive explosion occurs that totally rocks the entire stadium.

As Bra marvels over Vegetto's strength while Broly begins flying back to the arena with a power level now greater than Vegetto's, Zen Buu becomes excited at the prospect of absorbing Broly and crushing Vegetto next once the opportunity presents itself. Teleporting back to the stadium in the air while being incredibly damaged, both Gohan and Piccolo become shocked since it the first time in Vegetto's entire life he has ever been injured from anything. Smiling, Vegetto thanks Broly for the fight since he believes that he will never again have a foe with such incredible power to face, but he needs to stop it since Broly's power keeps on growing and he cannot guarantee to protect everyone from him. As Piccolo notes that Broly has indeed surpassed Vegetto while Goku laments that they didn't join in when they still had the chance, Vegetto spreads his arms to the side. Deciding to show a power he has never revealed to anyone up to this point, Vegetto begins powering up that blinds many people across the stadium.

With the transformation complete, Vegetto has became a Super Saiyan 3 while his aura becomes a mighty sphere surrounding him. With his sheer appearance alone, Vegetto affects the gravity to the point that people begin floating up since he became the new center of gravity. As both Trunks and Gohan theorize that his mass increased to the level of a moon while the density is close to that of a black hole, Vegetto grins as he creates two massive spheres next to him. Yelling out his ultimate technique, the Final Dragon Flash, Vegetto launches it straight towards the Heavens themselves by combining the two spheres and pointing to the sky. As the beam gets closer to Broly, it takes on the shape of Shenron before chomping on him before going even deeper into outer space. As Broly completely disappears from viewing, Vegetto powers down back to base and wipes the sweat from his brow. Vegetto is then declared the winner once thirty seconds had passed.

As Zen Buu teleports away to venture into deep space, Vegetto lands back into his balcony as family rushes to his side. Declining a Nameks offer to be healed since it won't work on him anymore, he notes that senzu beans will be enough for him. Quickly realizing that Buu isn't around, growing serious, Vegetto tells those around him to follow him as he then teleports away. Before Buu could make a move on Broly, Vegetto appears right before him.

Knowing his instincts were correct, Vegetto answers Buu's question that he never lost track of Broly, thus was able to find Buu. Telling him that he cannot attack Broly since it goes against the rules, Buu dismisses it due to their great distance away from the arena. Warning Buu that he will destroy him since he won't allow him to absorb Broly, Buu tells him that he confident he could easily smite Vegetto in his weakened state, not including the fact he cannot breathe in outer space. As Buu gloats about powers that will be unimaginable to witness, Vegetto uses the specialized kiai technique, the 'Majin punisher' to destroy a small part of Buu that was discreetly wandering towards Broly. Vegetto then bear witness to Buu separating into countless pieces of himself.

First Round: What's left of a Cyborg without Humanity

"The nex...no! I forbade you to! Don't do that, Bra!" — Vegetto telling Bra to not transform further in 'What's left of a cyborg without humanity!'

After some time has passed, now a Super Saiyan, Vegetto is battling against Buu in space while attempting to destroy as many heads as possible. As several rush towards Broly, both Gohan and Bra intervene to assist Vegetto. When both Saiyan hybrids successfully manage to push Buu back, Vegetto openly tells them that they're doing a good job and they should be able to hold Buu off until Broly is sent back at their rate.

As Gohan destroys more clones of Buu, Veqetto becomes greatly alarmed when Bra decides to transform into a Super Saiyan 2, even telling her that he forbid her to do so. When she finally ascends and starts attacking, Vegetto is quickly caught in the crossfire and is hit directly, becoming more injured as his clothes become even more tattered. Back in base form, Vegetto is unconscious as blood freely leaves from his body. As Broly is sent back to his universe before Buu could absorb him, Gohan grabs Vegetto and tells Bra to snap back into reality and teleport them away.

Appearing outside of the arena, Gohan lays Vegetto down and asks him if he is okay. Smiling, Vegetto tells him that he'll survive and Piccolo will eventually find them to deliver some senzu beans. Seeing Buu appearing, Vegetto lifts up his head as Buu is seething with rage. Getting back up and able to breathe again, Vegetto grimly notes that he even more harmed and still out of energy. Before he could finish the thought on what Gohan and Bra could be able to do, Vegetto sees Buu suddenly smiling and thanking them for a good time before walking away. Perplexed, Vegetto wonders if Buu was really trying to absorb Broly at all. When Piccolo finally arrives, Vegetto is restored to full capacity after eating a mouthful of senzu beans. Thanking Piccolo, the Namekian offers to fix Vegetto's clothes as well. Walking back to his universe's balcony with his arms folded, Vegetto asks Goten and Trunks on what he missed.

First Round: Double Trouble

While watching Gotenks battle against Gotenks, the moment when they lose Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto chimes in that level 3 takes away power quickly and changes fusion markers. And due to them being adults, it even worse since their more powerful. When both Gotenks separate, Vegetto notes that fusion time gets shorter too with level 3. When Bra becomes shocked that they aren't eliminated for being two people, Vegetto tells her that since only one person came to the arena, they are following the rules even if they are now two people.

First Round: The Taste of Revenge

When Bra was set to fight against Zangya of Universe 6 and openly wishes to make her suffer, Vegetto tells her to wait and asks the Vargas for two minutes to talk to her privately. Going inside of the apartments, Vegetto tells her to enter and sit down. With both seated, Vegetto folds his arms and tells her that he is forbidding her to hurt or kill Zangya. Instead he wants her to crush Zangya in one strike without any unnecessary violence. Enraged to the point of rising up and slamming her palms against the table, Bra yells out that she's Bojack's girlfriend and the perfect time to exact vengeance. But before she could exactly finish saying that, Vegetto interrupts her to train her resistance to anger instead since she did got carried away again in space against Buu. When she informs him that she saved his life, Vegetto takes her hand and leads them out of the apartment. While still walking, Vegetto positively thanks her for that and tells her that she was awesome up there. But pointing out that it still the proven proof of her greatest weakness, she cannot use her ultimate power without destroying everything around her. Needing her to control herself and do her best, he threatens to unsubscribe her from the tournament of she fails since this is a order to repress her anger.

Seeing Bra going angry from Zangya's taunting, Vegetto notes that it a bad start already. When Bra accidentally killed Zangya, but penultimately admitted she did what she could in the moment, Vegetto says "he knows". Gently touching her shoulder, Vegetto considered this an act of maturity and self-control and ultimately allows her to remain since she didn't mean to kill her and did held back. But once back in their balcony, Vegetto silently listens to Bra and Gohan on their opinions of Bojack coldly dismissing Zangya's corpse.

First Round: Saiyans, Nameks, and other Demons

In his observation when Cell reveals a newly powered up Cell Jr. from the apartment to face Gast Carcolh, Vegetto comments that he sees what had really happened to make the Junior so powerful. When Gast finally kills the Junior and wins the match, Vegetto tells Gohan that he won due to him destroying the main core of Junior, which makes Gohan ask if he guessed if he had one. When looking at Cell, Vegetto taunts the bio-android to not worry since the junior will be resurrected at the end of the tournament, though it may not matter if he decides to birth more in the meantime.

When it dinner time, Vegetto is seen to be happily eating among those from Universe 12, 18, and his own 16.

A Good Night's Sleep

During the evening after the first round, Vegetto quickly spots and punches Coola when he was swooping around in unrestricted areas on the tournament grounds. Before the frost demon could fully recover, Vegetto knocks him down with two more blows before mocking him that he has nobody to complain to and will deal with Freeza next. About to teleport, Vegetto immediately senses that the frost demon is not alone.

When it finally became morning, Vegetto is shown to be walking out of his universe's apartment along with Piccolo, Gohan, and Videl. When Bra makes a comment about spending another day watching boring fights filled with amateurs, Vegetto sternly tells her to use this free time to train on her patience and self-control. When Buu interrupts the musical-interlude due to their "incompetence", Vegetto tells Piccolo that he won't intervene due to the chance of seeing Buu playing music.

Second Round: Off to the Second Round

As South Kaioshin was absorbed by Fat Buu during their match, Vegetto listens to the shocked expressions of Goten and Trunks. Now amused, he asks Gohan on how much he told to the Kaioshins, with the latter saying everything (Cell, Buu and his absorptions, Freeza, Broly, Vegeta, Vegetto, etc), citing that they have the right to know.

Second Round: The Warrior who used to Run Amok

As Super Saiyan Bra attempts to attack Bojack whom which was blasted into their area by Cell during their match, Vegetto was there to restrain her. Subsequently after, Bojack was slain by Cell and leaves his corpse in the area of universe 16.

As the match between Kulilin and Tapion escalates, Vegetto is amazed when he sees Tapion being able to contain and control all of Hildegan's body during the fight.

Second Round: XXI

Vegetto is set to fight the mysterious XXI of Universe 5 in the second round. Upon seeing XXI using magic to fly to the arena, Vegetto realizes that he a magician, quickly deducing that the battle is already not fair. Deciding to finish him quickly before he could do anything weird, XXI lowly mumbles a incantation. Unknown to Vegetto at that instant, but due to being gone for over thirty seconds, he immediately lost the match.

Suddenly finding himself in a black void filled with nothing, Vegetto grimly realizes that it the 'weird' thing he was nervous about. Taking notes of his surroundings and finding himself to be trapped in another dimension via teleportation, Vegetto knows that if it takes him more than thirty seconds to get out, he will surely lose in his match. Confidently stating that XXI 's plan has failed since it easy to get out of dimensions by using a powerful kiai, Vegetto transforms into a Super Saiyan before launching the attack, which shatters the dimension and brings him back to the arena.

Proudly stating that he back, Vegetto immediately becomes dumbstruck when he sees Baddack and King Cold fighting on the arena. Despite seeing King Cold landing a sucker punch on Baddack, Vegetto is still clueless and has no idea on what happening as Bra yells at him that he finally made it back. Yelling at the two on what they are doing on the arena, upon getting ignored again, Vegetto's rage boils over and ruthlessly stomps both of their faces on the ground, demanding them to listen to those that are speaking as South Kaioshin realizes that Vegetto doesn't know how much time has really passed. When the announcer Vargas calls a timeout and tells Vegetto that he lost in his fight and to please leave the ring, Vegetto asks why, which the Vargas tells him that he been missing for over thirty seconds. Telling him that he wrong since he got back in less than twenty seconds, Bra once again yells at him that he been gone for the last two fights and even missed her fight. Shocked to hear two hours, West Kaioshin flies up and tells Vegetto that they figured out that XXI trapped him in a dimension where time flows differently. Due to this, even though it feels like a few seconds, in reality a hour and forty minutes has passed, thus they did other battles in the meantime.

Coming to the horrible reality he has been tricked, Vegetto notes it works just like the Room of Spirit and Time, but only in reverse. Baddack then catches Vegetto's attention, sternly telling the fused Saiyan to get lost so that he may continue his match. When Gohan lands on the ring and tells his dad to leave so that they may continue their match, Vegetto openly admits that it isn't fair and that it was a dirty trick since in a real fight he would have beaten XXI in the end. In this regard, Vegetto tells Gohan that the tournament rules are stupid. When Gohan refutes his claims and was ultimately beaten, Vegetto in annoyance tells Gohan to shut up since he doesn't want to give up on this tournament. However Gohan stands his ground, refusing to forsaken Pan's resurrection on the fact that if Vegetto keeps acting immature with his hot temper, then everyone from Universe 16 may be disqualified and sent back home. Thinking it over, Vegetto tells Gohan that he needs some time alone and is sorry to bother him before teleporting away.

Deep in space around an asteroid belt in great need to vent his frustrations that lightyears away from the arena, Vegetto ruthlessly punches a asteroid into smithereens. Angrily damning it all since the treacherous magician XXI had ruined a great opportunity to have great fights, Vegetto then transforms into a Super Saiyan 2 to destroy most rocks around him since he found it worse that Gohan was indeed right, but had the great urge to punch him so badly that it broke his skull. Finally powering down and meditating on a larger asteroid, Vegetto realizes that his frustration turns him into Bra. Accepting it, Vegetto notes that Gohan is good with the organizers and perhaps can negotiate a few more matches. Knowing that Zen Buu will surely accept fighting in deep space, Vegetto begins to wonder if Gast Carcolh or Cell would agree to a outside match as well. Believing that everything will be alright in the end and can still control himself perfectly, Vegetto realizes that he now has to breathe in oxygen.

Second Round: The Fight of the Fathers

Returning to the stadium while being ignorant of Zen Buu's rampage and it closure, Vegetto lands behind the members of Universe 16. Confused by the current tense atmosphere and asks his members on why everyone on such high alert, Vegetto is greatly shocked when Gohan tells him everything he has missed. As deliberations were underway to deal with Zen Buu's fate, Vegetto offers to keep a eye on him and they should all forgive him, making Trunks to tell him to shut up at the absurdity of it all.

When Cell mocks King Cold for throwing his trash (Baddack) anywhere he likes, Vegetto comically calls him a hypocrite since he one to talk.

Second Round: Enemies Forever

Upon seeing Ghost Broly from Universe 3 beginning his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, Vegetto openly becomes excited at the spectacle before him.

Second Round: Corruption of the Absolute Evil

Upon seeing Vegeta attaining the infamous Super Saiyan 3 transformation, Vegetto openly yawns at the display, heavily implying he finds the rise in power very boring. When Porunga was scheduled to be summoned, Vegetto immediately transforms into a Super Saiyan and agrees with the security protocols in place, openly threatening to disintegrate anyone who crosses the low wall without warning since he sick of goons and their petty wishes. When Pan is resurrected, Vegetto is back in base form and smiles as he sees Pan hugging both Videl and Gohan.

With the second round officially being over as dinner is being served, Vegetto happily leans over the wall of Universe 17 and taunts Cell on how he can explain on why he now has two kids, which the bio-android angrily explains "no".

Third Round: Sinister Creations

During the match between Cell and Tapion, Vegetto was loudly praising the combo attack Cell used on Hildegan, much to the utter embarrassment of Gohan and to the shock of the two Cell Jrs. When Cell finally won his match and decided to go inside of his apartment to clean up, Vegetto leans against the low wall separating their universes and happily mocks him by saying "try not to kill your children on the way".

Third Round: The New Abilities of Fusion

When Zen Buu powered up during his match against Gotenks, Vegetto was shown to be utterly disgusted (and perhaps even slightly worried) upon sensing the awesome power of Buu. When the lunch break was announced by the Great Kaioshin, Vegetto is shown to be happily eating with the members of his universe. After a hour of gluttonous eating, Vegetto is comically shown to be very fat who rolls on the ground due to being unable to stand. This action inspires Trunks to ridicule Vegetto and jokes that he is about to explode just like Cell, leaving Bra to insult her brother's intelligence.

Third Round: Balancing the Fighters

During the match between King Cold and Son Bra, Vegetto is silently seen watching King Cold dodging Son Bra's spiral energy blast with incredible finesse. When the count down begins upon seeing Son Bra falling down due to her severe injuries, Vegetto silently listens to the conversation between Pan and Gohan about Bra being dead or not.

Third Round: Drop the Act!

Vegetto's impatience with Ginyu

"Do the switch again." "Or else what?" "Or else you'll disappear. I'm not talking about death, but much worse." — Vegetto and Ginyu, in "Drop the act!"

When Bra managed to land a decisive hit on King Cold, Piccolo finds it incredible and asks Vegetto if he can do it as well. Amused with his arms crossed, Vegeeto states that he can do this as well and the first to make ki constructs was Gotenks. So ultimately both he and Bra simply followed his example. As Zen Buu internally analyzes Vegetto's capabilities while Bra is given the victory, King Cold uses his Body Change ability. Successfully changing bodies with her, the real Bra is helpless in the damaged frost demon body as Ginyu-Bra marches towards Universe 16. As Ginyu tries to go inside of the apartment to take a shower, both Vegetto and Gohan intercept him. Vegetto then bluntly tells him that he isn't really Bra. When Bra tries to play it off that he really "Son Bra", Vegetto tells him that he actually Captain Ginyu, shocking the body snatcher. Having no more need to be deceitful, Ginyu becomes honest and promises to become a great member among the family.

Instantly becoming enraged, Vegetto grabs Ginyu's shirt and promises him that "you'll see" before using instant transmission to appear before Freeza, Coola, and Bra within Cold's body. As Freeza begrudgingly proposes a alliance since they have a common enemy, Vegetto forcibly moves his hands to the side as Ginyu waves at the frost demons.

Knocking out both frost demons with simple kiais, Vegetto forcibly drags Ginyu's body to the tank and orders him to do the switch again. As Ginyu smartly asks "or else what", Vegetto tells him that he'll disappear by a fate much worse than death. When Ginyu asks on what it could be worse than dying, Vegetto grimly informs him that he can destroy his soul to the point that no paradise, reincarnation, or resurrection with the dragon balls would be possible anymore. When Ginyu tries to blackmail Vegetto that he cannot be killed since his life is too important for Vegetto now, the fused Saiyan tells him that Shenron would definitely be able to put her soul back into her body, but the same won't be said about his immortal soul once it been utterly pulverized by his technique. When Ginyu tries to trick Vegetto by using a mouth energy wave instead of the body change in attempt to kill Bra, Vegetto instantly teleports away deep within space to have the attack destroy moon rocks instead. As Ginyu remains shocked, Vegetto informs him that he cannot be fooled and is accustomed at preventing Bra's lashes for years.

Telling Ginyu that he hopes he understands since against Vegetto, he can only obey since he's overwhelmed, Ginyu proudly says that he's his new daughter since the real Bra will die eventually. Rage reaching a boiling point as he lifts Ginyu by the hair, Vegetto brutally slams Ginyu's head to the ground as the body snatcher happily dares him to kill his daughter's body. Not terribly injured while lying down, Ginyu tells him that if they fight outside of the arena, they'll be sent back to Universe 16 which will forever separate them from Bra's soul. Telling Ginyu that he guarantees it won't happen since they are light years away from the arena, nobody will know about it. Pleased to hear that while wishing to test the limits of Bra's body, Ginyu transforms into a Super Saiyan.

Also transforming into a Super Saiyan, Vegetto lazily catches Ginyu's punch before easily deflecting all of the blows aimed across his body. Seeing a opening, Vegetto lazily pops Ginyu on the cheek that sends him crashing to the ground. As Ginyu tries to get up, Vegetto ominously informs him that no one in any universe, including his little Bra can even hope to reach a tenth of his full power.

Telling Ginyu that he doesn't have the true capacities of Bra since he lacks the necessary harmony between body and soul, Ginyu states that would be true if he landed in a body of pure good, something that doesn't exist since nobody can get stronger without losing their kindness. Remaining silent while growing more serious upon hearing that, Vegetto witnesses Bra transforming into a Super Saiyan 2. Slightly surprised, Vegetto too becomes a Super Saiyan 2 while becoming a bit more agitated. As Ginyu rushes in, Vegetto easily blocks the punch aiming for his chest. Believing their levels are now not so much different while backing away and firing several Kienzan discs, Vegetto makes a cross block and tells Ginyu that he is drunk on power that isn't his. Seemingly getting cut in half, which makes Ginyu smile at the apparent victory, it turns out it was just a afterimage as Vegetto appears behind Ginyu in his Super Saiyan 3 transformation. Wishing to end this, Vegetto ruthlessly punches Ginyu hard across the face, sending Bra's body flying far into the distance.

With Ginyu laying in a pool of mercury, highly injured and back in base, Ginyu is at Vegetto's complete mercy as the fused Saiyan flies towards Bra's body while too returning back into base. Grabbing Ginyu by the neck, he tells him if he "got the message", but before he could continue, Ginyu attempts to use the body change to steal Vegetto's body.

But quickly using teleportation to trick Ginyu to switch back with the real Bra, Vegetto smiles as he is now holding his real daughter within his hands. Putting Bra down and listening to her that he took long enough to save her, Vegetto warmly tells her that he glad to see her too. Bra them remarks at how badly Vegetto beat her up. As Coola recovers and attempts to attack them for the cheap ambush, Vegetto quickly teleports him and Bra away, leaving the frost demons alone with the defeated Ginyu.

Arriving back to the barracks of Universe 16, Vegetto asks Piccolo for some senzu beans. When Gohan asks Vegetto on what happened to Ginyu, the fused Saiyan closes his eyes and states that he is back inside of King Cold, thus he is no longer his problem. As Bra states that she is going to bed, much to Pan's apparent worry, Piccolo asks Vegetto if it wise since she should study her next opponent. Not fazed by the new choices Bra made, Vegetto tells Piccolo that it would be smart of her, something she usually doesn't do.

Third Round: All the Hatred of the World

Upon witnessing Gast Carcolh making a futile punch on Broly, Vegetto openly mocks him by saying "well duh" in a condensing tone. When Babidi summons a metal plate on the arena, Vegetto is seen to be one of many contestants who is instantly teleported away.

Now on a poisonous planet a few billion parsecs away, Vegetto comically addresses South Kaioshins question on where he at while asking what he was insinuating, making the Kaio sweat with nervousness. Now more serious, Vegetto states that they are on a faraway planet to the point he could no longer even feel the arena. Upon looking at the metal plate used in Babidi's spell, Vegetto states it is indeed Babidi for being responsible for all of this and due to the fact they only moved them, it likely the other contestants are underneath his control by this point. After hearing Goku's serious proclamation that they need to quickly get back to stop Babidi, Vegetto calmly points out that his coup likely already failed since both Gohan's and Bra are over there, thus he stands no chance. However Vegetto quickly falls into a comically depression when nobody was listening to him.

Now in formation, Vegetto is seen trying to sense the various energies back in the arena. With Trunks by him, Vegetto still attempts to try to find the area from his current standpoint. When Vegeta and Emperor Vegeta were about to fight, Vegetto is happily seen to be eating popcorn next to Zen Buu and Goku at the showdown about to take place, much to the embarrassment of both Vegeta's.

When Goku points out that they need to find them since they all may be in great danger, Vegetto annoyingly states that there are missing out on all of the action, hinting it more important than the people who are in danger.

When Zen Buu finally finds the arena and has everyone join hands to prepare to be teleported, Vegetto is shocked at the level of destruction upon returning to the tournament grounds. Quickly after Vegetto is among those present who hears from Buu that he has the ability to read all of the thoughts of those that are both dead and alive and wants to share the thoughts with them. Seeing the thoughts, Vegetto instantly becomes horrified by the atrocities before turning away in extreme anger. Body shaking with utter rage that he can barely control, Vegetto asks Bra if she is responsible for all of the death and destruction that took place while being underneath Babidi's control. When she admits so, Vegetto becomes consumed with his boiling rage and ruthlessly kicks her in the gut, causing blood to spill out of her mouth.

When she crashes into a structure, Vegetto attempts to punch her again, but she quickly transforms into a Super Saiyan 2 to intercept. Enraged even further by the simple action, Vegetto yells out "you dare" as his anger reaches new heights. Transforming into a Super Saiyan 3 that rocks Bra back, Vegetto ignores Goku's pleas to stop as he rushes forward in attempt to strike her again though a unknown figure appears behind him.

Suddenly losing his Super Saiyan 3 form, Vegetto finds to the ground on all fours in utter disbelief as his attacker is revealed to be Gast Carcolh. Vegetto shockingly states that he has no more energy, but that shock is quickly replaced with pure rage after listening to Gast. Telling the Super Namek that Bra no victim since Babidi's control is easy to break, he further adds that she has no self control and willingly gave up what little sanity she had in exchange for a 'puny' increase in power. Telling Gast to allow him to kill Bra since it is his responsibility, Vegetto angrily listens to Gotenks opinion about the whole affair. Calling him a idiot, Vegetto tells him that he willingly sold her sold to Babidi and committed the worst acts of cruelty, which makes him ask that has she not already pass the point of no return. Listening to Gotenks and Gast talking down on him some more, Vegetto openly acknowledges that he refuses to allow them to pass judgement on him. Vegetto then listens to Bra promising to be as 'strong' as her counterpart while wishing to never follow in Vegetto's footsteps ever again in terms of power.

Deciding that the case is closed, Gast ends his paralysis magic on Vegetto, freeing the Saiyan while restoring his strength. Standing back up, still enraged, Vegetto asks Gast on what to do when she reaches Super Saiyan 3, which the Namek simply says that they must wait and see. Zen Buu then heals and revives everyone while removing Babidi's magic of possession. Unable to enjoy the restoration of the tournament and people, Vegetto's face is warped with utter resentment as veins dance on his forehead. Feeling himself being surrounded by a sea of darkness, Vegetto darkly notes to himself privately that both Buu and Gast possess powers far above that he ever imagined. Believing that he was supposed to win this tournament, Vegetto lambasts the concept of magic since it so dishonest in the sport of combat.

During the match between Baddack of Universe 3 and Raditz of Universe 13, Baddack has a vision of Vegetto with his hand around Gohan's throat, with Gohan's eyes rolled into the back of his head. Bra tells Goku and Vegeta that no one can stop Vegetto, especially not them.

In another vision, Goku tells Bra that they will find a way to stop Vegetto since he isn't invincible, which Bra reassures them that he is invincible.

As a fusion of Vegeta and Goku, with their power combined into one, therefore, making an tremendously powerful Saiyan fusion beyond imagination. Even when turned into a piece of candy, Vegetto utterly decimated Buu until he was forced to turn him back to normal. Being so outclassed, Buu was forced to absorb Vegetto, which the Saiyan defeated with his own energy shield. Thus in the end, Majin Buu was unable to overpower Vegetto at any capacity once he became a Super Saiyan.

Once inside of Buu and ripping away all of his absorptions, the power gap between them became insanely more vast that Vegetto had little worries he could could defeat the Majin. Nonetheless due to his incredibly small size, a relatively powerful ki blast only did miniscule damage once it pierced outside of Buu's body. But upon becoming interested in ripping away from Fat Buu from Super Buu's systems, Vegetto did just so that instantly floored and ended the Super Majin's existence. Thus despite having the arena advantage even though he lost his absorptions, Super Buu still remained inferior to Vegetto and was forced to regress back into Kid Buu.

After ripping away Fat Buu and witnessing Buu reverting to his original and pure form; Kid Buu, Vegetto still felt confident against the Majin. This is due to a combination that despite his power level momentarily increased upon becoming muscular, it dropped sharply once he became a child. While still being a Super Saiyan, Vegetto was able to deflect a attack meant to destroy the Earth, immediately challenging the Majin to combat that if he wanted to destroy the Earth, he will first need to defeat him. When Buu doesn't listen, Vegetto quickly fires a Kamehameha that not only engulfs the Majin, but also eradicates the Vanishing Ball he was preparing.

Before Buu could regenerate, Vegetto quickly punches Buu in the stomach that obviously causes great pain to the djinn. Concluding that Buu is insane and has to finish it quickly, Vegetto uses his specialized kiai as his finishing move. Seeing the desired effect, Vegetto quickly fires multiple shots that literally eats away chunks of Buu's body away. When the last of Buu's body is finally vaporized, Vegetto becomes victorious as he powers down back into normal state. Thus in the end, Kid Buu was absolutely not match for Vegetto in his transformed state.

Aftermath following Buu

When on the Lookout after defeating Majin Buu, Vegetto was challenged by Gohan for a spar. Despite Vegetto being in base and Gohan's incredible power from his Ultimate state, Vegetto lead throughout the entire spar. Vegetto once parried a blow that Gohan threw 'with all of his might' before evading all of his blows, forcing Gohan to grow mad and power up to the point his aura sprang to life. As that battle continued that made Gohan wanted to fight for real, Vegetto declined to transform into a Super Saiyan since he didn't need to before punching Gohan in the face. When Vegetto blocks a ki blast and was no worse for wear, Gohan decides to call it quits and powers down. Thus despite the power gap between Vegetto and Gohan, the fused Saiyan was able to hold his own and remained uninjured as Gohan got hit that wounded his warriors pride.

Fifty times normal gravity has little effect on Vegetto once in the gravity chamber. Trunks considered Vegetto to be 'too much' as a Super Saiyan, which forced the fused Saiyan to power down back to base. Nonetheless, Trunks as a Super was unable to even hit Vegetto and was easily beaten in the spar.

Kibitoshin admitted that he far more weaker than Vegetto is when he was training to master the instantaneous movement.

Quadruple Mission & Son Bra Unbound

Four years before the Multiverse Tournament, Vegetto initially had no ill effects when submerged in a kilometer of magical water deep in outer space. Facing against a evil manifestation of Son Bra, Vegetto was not shown to be worried when facing her. With a single punch, Vegetto delivered significant damage that not only pushed her back, but made her bleed from the mouth. Vegetto openly criticized her for being a illusion, thus had no remorse for doing that to her. In response, Illusion Bra was forced to use Super Saiyan 3 to combat against Vegetto.

Now finding the match to be interesting, Vegetto too transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 and proceeds to easily overwhelm Bra in their brief exchange of combat. When Illusion Bra fires a ki blast, Vegetto easily rides the blast before deflecting it at Illusion Bra, though proceeds to lose air from the underwater conditions. But with a single Super Explosive Wave, Vegetto destroys both Illusion Bra and the water sphere, freeing him and granting him victory. And upon seeing the real Bra going crazy upon unlocking Super Saiyan 2, Vegetto, too in the same state, easily ambushes and knocks her out with a single punch.

Vegetto openly admits that while he is still indeed far more stronger than Bra at this point in time, eventually she will surpass him as she matures and grows in power.

Tournament - First Round

At this point in time, Vegetto's base form is equivalent to Ultimate Gohan and SSJ Son Bra since their all in the same tier.

Vegetto clobbering Broly

When Broly was released and powers up, Vegetto is not even fazed by the power before him. And upon convincing Broly to fight him, Vegetto becomes excited while transforming into the first Super Saiyan level. Here Vegetto is fast enough to not only dodge Broly's punch, but also land several consecutive strikes over his body. Even after getting a knee strike to his gut and a double haymaker that sent him through the arena, Vegetto only lost spittle and comically his head throbbed. But immediately after Vegetto rebounded and struct Broly, being no worse for wear before throwing Broly away at a great distance. Consequently for Broly, he was then hit by a Big Bang Attack, drowning the Legendary Saiyan in a mighty explosion. Thus what was shown at this level of their battle, Vegetto was superior than Broly, though others pointed out that it still wasn't enough to put Broly down due to his unique perks.

When Broly's ki doubled, Vegetto was quickly beaten badly to the point he was losing blood in the process. And when Broly willed so, he easily threw Vegetto into a crater that would serve to be his coffin. In response, Vegetto decided to show his true power "for the very first time since his fusion", which was becoming a Super Saiyan 2. So in the end, Vegetto became inferior to Broly when he powered up, thus forcing him to use a advanced transformation to even the playing field.

Yet not helpless, Vegetto escapes from the chain before reengaging against Broly, creating a dazzling melee where both strike the other in relentless fashion. As their punches collide, it produces a mighty explosion that truly rocks the entire asteroid. And when Vegetto's Big Bang Kamehameha impacts against Broly's Omega Blaster, a supreme explosion occurs that truly shakes everything up. So at this point in their duel, Vegetto and Broly were truly equals in the powers department.

When Broly's power once again surpasses Vegetto's according to Android 16, Vegetto finally reappears though is heavily damaged. As Piccolo also notes that Broly has surpassed Vegetto, the fused Saiyan decides to finish the fight once and for all since his power will just keep increasing and won't have the means anymore to protect everyone from him. Admitting that he has never shown this power to anyone else, Vegetto becomes a Super Saiyan 3. With the gravity becoming distorted from his sheer and tremendous power, Vegetto immediately charges and fires his almighty "Final Dragon Flash" towards Broly in the heavens. The attack proves powerful enough to utterly defeat Broly that sends his unconscious body further into space, thus allowing Vegetto to power down. Thus Vegetto wins the match against Broly. So while Vegetto became weaker than Broly as a Super Saiyan 2, ultimately Super Saiyan 3 proved strong enough to finally put Broly in his place.

Upon sensing Zen Buu was teleporting to Broly, Vegetto immediately went after him without first taking a senzu bean. Despite his condition, Vegetto felt confident that he could destroy Buu while not absorbing Broly, which Buu retorts that he could already beat the fused Saiyan at full power, much less a weakened version that not even a funny 'joke' to the Majin at how easy it will be. Despite the boosting, Vegetto with his specialized technique was shown to easily vaporize Buu's body, which made the Majin to multiply himself to make his defeat that much more harder. Despite becoming a Super Saiyan, Vegetto was shown to not be able to put a damp on Buu's multiple bodies, relieved only when Gohan and Bra showed up to assist him. Once Bra goes Super Saiyan 2, much to Vegetto's refusal to allow, Vegetto was powerless when he got crossed in her line of fire and immediately became unconscious and went back to base. He was only saved from certain death once Goha and Bra saved him from deep space, managing to return to the fighting tournament in the outskirts. With Vegetto being more harmed and out of energy when Buu came back, thus forcing him to make him think of a strategy to stall Buu than outright confronting him, he was only saved once Buu had a change of heart and spared them, thus granting them the necessary reprieve to heal. Thus ultimately, at least in a severely weakened state, Vegetto is unable to sway the tide of the battle against Zen Buu and can be easily defeated from Bra when she is a Super Saiyan 2.

First Round - Statements

When as a Super Saiyan, Son Bra as a Super Saiyan 2 is in the same tier as him. And when as a Super Saiyan 2, both Zen Buu and Broly after his latest power ups match him in such a heightened tier.

Vegeta shockingly states that the power produced between Vegetto and Broly utterly surpasses everyone in Universe 18. Gohan makes a similar quote since Vegetto up to this point has never used Super Saiyan 2, even against Bra.

Zen Buu in astonishment openly finds Vegetto and Broly's power to be "gigantic" upon witnessing their signature techniques colliding.

Various reactions on Vegetto's victory

Vegetto's Big Bang Kamehameha and Broly's Omega Blaster were strong enough to have 1% of the energy to pierce through the Vargas' energy shields that protect the spectators. Likewise Kakarotto was amazed by such power while Cell found it "impossible" they could be so strong.

Bra is highly amazed by Vegetto's power after seeing him both use Super Saiyan 2 and Big Bang Kamehameha. As for Zen Buu, despite witnessing Vegetto's great power, he felt incredibly confident he could defeat the fused Saiyan in combat.

Piccolo admits that Vegetto was injured for the first time in his life after battling Broly, something which shocked both Gohan and Bra upon seeing his damaged frame.

When Vegetto defeated Broly, both Goku and Emperor Vegeta were utterly shocked at his power. As East Kaioshin believes he is truly invincible, Buu from Universe 11 openly applauds Vegetto's performance as Bra expected him to win. Cell admits that Vegetto is stronger than him, but vows to surpass him as the Frost Demons from Universe 8 were completely shocked into near stupidity. Zen Buu was impressed with Vegetto's powers.

Vegetto believes that Buu is the most dangerous contestant in the tournament and notes that, while he might have a slight edge in terms of raw power, Buu could easily close the gap. Moreover, he has no idea what new powers Buu has acquired and is unsure whether or not he truly could beat the Majin in an all-out fight.

Tournament - Second Round

When Bojack feel into the balcony of Universe 16, Vegetto using a combination of words and strength was strong enough to restrain Bra from finishing Bojack while she was a Super Saiyan.

Vegetto versus XXI

When called for his battle against XXI, Vegetto immediately sweated since he found the aspect of fighting a magician to be unfair. This prompted him to think of finishing off XXI quickly to prevent him from doing something weird, unaware that XXI was already preparing a spell. Almost instantaneously afterwards, Vegetto was caught by a spell that sent him to a black dimension. But still feeling confident, Vegetto transformed into a Super Saiyan to free himself. Upon returning, Vegetto became confused and easily stomped Baddack and King Cold in their Super Saiyan and true state respectively while in his Super Saiyan state, largely annoyed at being ignored. Immediately afterwards Vegetto was told how he lost, leaving him dumbfounded. With no more options left, especially with Gohan bringing his opinions to the table, Vegetto resigned and left to digest his defeat. Ultimately Vegetto was no match for XXI when he used his magic, making him disappear for over two hours in a black void that felt like he was gone for a few seconds, costing him the fight.

Second Round - Statements

When alone, Vegetto considers Zen Buu, Gast Carcolh, and Cell valid warriors that he wishes to test himself against if they agreed to a outside match.

Vegetto became very excited upon seeing Ghost Broly powering up before Emperor Vegeta, highly suggesting he wasn't bothered by Broly's growing power and wished to see it go all the way.

When Emperor Vegeta became a Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto openly yawned, which highly suggests he found the power level to be insignificant in his eyes.

When Porunga was summoned, Vegetto threatened anyone who crossed the low wall while becoming a Super Saiyan. This implies that Vegetto felt confident he could handle anyone if they dared to breach security protocols.

Tournament - Third Round

When Vegetto figured out that Ginyu was in Bra, he had no issues forcibly transporting them before the body of King Cold. And with single hand motions in base form, Vegetto was easily able to knock out both Freeza and Coola, two powerful frost demon princes in their true forms. And when Ginyu attempted to kill Bra, Vegetto proven himself to be fast enough to divert the attack to spare Bra's life. As Ginyu refused to submit to Vegetto's ultimatums, Vegetto with a single throw was able to ruffle up Ginyu, whom seem unable to stop it, although in the end only suffered minor wounds. Thus when in the same state, it safe to deduce that Vegetto is indeed stronger than Ginyu-Bra in the same state.

When Ginyu transformed into a Super Saiyan, Vegetto too transformed and was able to easily match him in each blow he delivered, seemingly appearing indifferent and relaxed despite Ginyu's best efforts. And with a single palm strike, Vegetto was able to put Ginyu on all forms, attaining a split lip in the process. When Ginyu transformed into a Super Saiyan 2, Vegetto mirrored him in kind. When Ginyu rushes in firing several Kienzans, believing that their power levels are no longer as far apart anymore, Vegetto still easily blocked the punch before reprimanding the body snatcher that he's simply drunk on power that isn't his to own.

After easily evading Ginyu's ki discs, Vegetto transformed into a Super Saiyan 3. Wishing to end it at that moment, Vegetto defeated Ginyu in one blow. The force alone so powerful that not only did Ginyu flew back a considerable distance away, but also returned back to base form. Having no more need to be in his higher transformations, Vegetto too returned to base form and demanded Ginyu to give in. Subsequently, Vegetto ultimately saved Bra and forced Ginyu to return back into his frost demon body. Thus in the end Ginyu was absolutely no match for Vegetto at any point in their duel, granting Vegetto the final laugh.

Third Round - Statements

Vegetto was openly impressed when Cell landed blows on Hildegan. However beyond that, it offers no more insight on the power grid between them.

When Zen Buu powered up before Gotenks, Vegetto was visibly disturbed by the Majin's power level. Even Goku noted that he hasn't felt energy like this since Vegetto's own battle against Broly.

Zen Buu believes that Vegetto is likely capable of easily defeating Broly if he used his 'novel' techniques he purposefully omitted in their duel in the first round.

When battling Ginyu in Bra's body, Vegetto ominously states that Bra doesn't even compare to a tenth of his level. This includes everyone else in any universe.

Vegetto openly criticized Gast's performance against Ghost Broly, finding his tactics to be inefficient due to clear conditions regarding Broly's invincibility. Thus one can infer that Vegetto was unimpressed with the way Gast handled himself in this portion of his fight.

Majin Rebellion

Upon learning that Son Bra was largely responsible for the destruction that occurred at the arena, once he heard her admitting to it, Vegetto's rage boiled over that a single kick to her gut made her both fly back and cough up copious amounts of blood. When flying towards her to give a followup punch, Bra quickly transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 to intercept it, further enraging Vegetto. This proves that at this point, if in the same state, Vegetto is indeed stronger than Bra.

When transformed into a Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto's power alone pushed Bra even further back as Goku futilely told Vegetto to stop his assault. However Gast's magic proved strong enough to not only revert Vegetto into base, but rob him of all strength throughout the duration. Vegetto only regained his power when Gast willingly ended the magical spell. Thus this proves that despite Vegetto's astronomical power level in his highest transformation, magic can still immobilize him regardless what he tries to do next.

Majin Rebellion - Statements

Vegetto openly admitted that due to the sheer distance of being away from the arena, he no longer could feel anyone's energy at the place. However, if he had known the distance and direction, he theoretically could teleport everyone back.

Vegetto believes that one day, Son Bra will likely attain Super Saiyan 3, becoming a great threat.

Future Events

Due to unseen circumstances, Vegetto is a Super Saiyan 2 who is holding a presumably dead Gohan in his heads, threatening to kill everyone if he has to. Bra openly tells Goku and Vegeta that they cannot do anything to him, but Goku believes he isn't invincible, which Bra clarifies that he most certainly is. If Gohan in the end did in fact fought Vegetto as a Super Saiyan 2, ultimately he has no match and has been brought to the brink of death in their duel.

Author Statements

According to Salagir, Vegetto's base strength in Age 774 was 'SSJ3 Tier', making it comparable to the likes of Kid Buu, Super Buu with no absorptions, SSJ3 Kid Gotenks, and SSJ3 Goku. But in Age 794, the year of the Multiverse Tournament, Vegetto's base power level increased to be in the same league as Mystic Gohan and possibly SSJ Son Bra. Nonetheless it has always been lower than Super Buu when he had either Gotenks or Gohan as his main absorption.

Also according to the same tier, Vegetto as a Super Saiyan shares the same level as Super Saiyan 2 Son Bra. When being a Super Saiyan 2, both Broly (at the end of the fight) and Zen Buu share his level of power. However even when being as a Super Saiyan 3, there no guarantees Vegetto can win against Zen Buu since it incredibly difficult to kill the Majin.

If 'Gokuhan' existed, the Potala fusion of Goku and Gohan, he would be stronger than Vegetto, though he wouldn't train as hard Vegetto does. Also Salagir believes that neither Goku nor Vegeta is the dominant one in the fusion that makes up Vegetto, though some traits are more recognizable than others.

Salagir believes that during the Buu Saga, Vegetto as a Super Saiyan is at least two times stronger than Super Buu with Gohan absorbed.

Saiyans cannot breathe in space, and Vegetto is no exception to this rule.

Due to needing a weakness since he is basically a "Double Saiyan", Vegetto's hunger is greatly amplified. Also he is fully alive, not affected from Vegeta's dead state during fusion.

Namekian healing has little effect on Vegetto anymore due to his grossly enhanced power level. Salagir added this drawback and a few others since Vegetto is too 'perfect' in many other ways. Vegetto is also gentle enough to hold the most fragile crystal glass or touch the surface of a spiders web without breaking it.

Vegetto has excellent perception, almost appearing omnipotent since he used to playing "God" in his universe. Thus he can keep track of nearly every opponent he encounters. Salagir also sees him as some deus ex machina character since he is very skilled at almost everything, which is why he could feel Buu's power within Uub.

Vegetto won't be gaining any Zenkai boosts in DBM.

Salagir believes that Vegetto isn't a good father, or is a 'simple' Saiyan, but a monster created from the Potala earrings. This is supported by making Bra a 'half double-Saiyan', raised 'by the worst of Goku and Vegeta combined'.

Vegetto is superior to Ginyu-Bra, and by extension the real Son Bra in every same transformation. Vegetto only uses Super Saiyan 3 to finish the fight quickly.

Despite intentionally being portrayed with big flaws and redeeming qualities, Vegetto is not perfect since he isn't good with relationships or empathy. However, he is noted to be 'perfect master of his body and emotions'. Also Vegetto doesn't care about his family the same way Goku and Vegeta does. He likes them, but isn't there as much as he should be. Instead he likes using most of his time training Bra and Pan.

Salagir admitted that he deliberately changed Vegetto's character to be darker. Vegetto was perfect in the original manga and that is why Toriyama quickly dismissed him.

Traits & Skills

Enhanced Physiology: As a Saiyan, he possesses superhuman strength, speed, and endurance. His physique and training allows him to hold his breath for an extremely extended period of time even while in space. One of the best examples that displays Vegetto's raw strength was while being a Super Saiyan, he was able to easily fling Broly several yards at great speeds towards a chunk of the floating arena, whom was in his heavy Legendary Super Saiyan state.

Permanent Merger: Due to how absolute the fusion is from the Potala Earrings, not even Porunga can separate him since it beyond his power. And after so many years of being fused, not even Buu's inner world can dissolve the fusion.

High Metabolism: Despite becoming super fat after eating for one hour straight, within the same hour Vegetto is restored to his regular physique with no ill effects.

Ki Hiding: The ability to mask your energy to negligible levels. When Vegetto self banished himself into exile, he used this power to completely hide from Gohan, Goten, and Trunks for over two months.

Excellent Hunter and Survivalist: Due to having both the memories of Goku and Vegeta, Vegetto can easily thrive in the wilderness since can can fish and catch anything within range.

Analytic expert of Goku and Vegeta: Due to possessing the full memories of his progenitors, Vegetto knows many irrefutable facts about them.

Gravity Manipulation: As a side effect of becoming a Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto automatically becomes a new center of gravity where objects and people will start floating towards him. Trunks states that his mass increased while Gohan equates Vegetto to having the same mass as the moon, yet a level of density close to a black hole. It unknown if Vegetto can control this or not, but it likely the former since his subsequent usages doesn't display the gravity effect.

• Flight: The ability to levitate by manipulating one's ki, inherited from both Goku and Vegeta. Vegetto has used used this throughout his entire existence, most prominently seen when he returned to the stadium as a damaged Super Saiyan 2 during his fight with Broly and hovered over it.
• Ki Sensing: The ability to locate energy by extending one's senses. Vegetto is so talented that even if someone lowered their power level within 100 kilometers from him, he could sense it. Vegetto has used this many times, most prominently when trying to locate the arena's energy source after being transported by Babidi.

• Complete Shot:  A mighty physical combo where Vegetto punches the opponent twice and uppercuts their chin before kicking them away. He then dashes after them to knock the opponent away with a punch and kick to their side. Vegetto used a variant of this move to batter and pummel Broly around.
• Telepathy: The highly useful ability to communicate telepathically with other people, inherited from Goku. Vegetto once used it to talk to Gohan and Goten to come to dinner. During the Multiverse Tournament, Vegetto uses this to talk to Zen Buu when the latter was trying to absorb Broly in outer space.
• Telekinesis: The ability to manipulate objects by using one's own mind. Vegetto once used this to manipulate a planet's atmospheric airflow to help intimidate the Don into submission.
• Afterimage: An illusory clone left behind as a result of using extreme speed. Vegetto used this ability to trick Ginyu into thinking that his Kienzan truly sliced him in half.

• Ki Blast: A powerful concentrated energy attack that can be increased to various levels of power, inherited from both Goku and Vegeta. Vegetto used this throughout his life, most prominently against Majin Buu when inside of his own body.
  • Continuous Energy Bullet: A rapid-fire barrage of ki blasts, typically fired from one or both hands. Vegetto uses the move in an attempt to annihilate multiple Zen Buu heads during their outer space fight.
  • Finger Beam: A thin but efficient, piercing ki laser fired from the user's fingertips, likely inherited from Vegeta. Vegetto used a two-fingered version to save those that were absorbed from Buu.
• Spirit Sword: Vegito's trademark hand energy blade, possessing extreme cutting and piercing power. Vegetto used this to intercept Broly before he could attack Goku.
• Instant Transmission: The ability to transport oneself nearly anywhere as long as the user has a ki signal to lock onto, inherited from Goku. According to Vegetto, all he has to do is sense the ki, concentrate by visualizing himself next to the subject, then finally hurl his ki to that direction to complete the move. Vegetto has used this many times over his life, which was most prominently seen when he used it to appear behind Broly before hitting him with a Big Bang Attack.
  • Instantaneous Movement: A heightened teleportation skill superior to Instant Transmission. With this, Vegetto can instantly teleport to another planet, place, or person without having to focus on a specific energy signature to use as a target. This means that Vegetto can transport anywhere within the universe long he can visualize the area. Vegetto learned this move to have the power to go to a planet with massive reserves of Senzu Beans. During Multiverse, Vegetto has used this many times, most prominently to teleport Ginyu to prevent him from killing Bra in King Cold's body. However it does have drawbacks. If Vegetto doesn't know both the direction and distance, the technique cannot be performed.
• Super Explosive Wave: A fearsome omni-directional blast of ki unleashed from the user's body that causes massive damage to the surrounding environment. When used as an Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto was able to destroy the one kilometer length of magic water and kill Illusion Bra in one fell swoop.
  • Final Explosion: A much more powerful Super Explosive Wave inherited by Vegeta. Vegetto used this technique in tandem with Majin Punisher in an attempt to wipe out the numerous Zen Buu clones attempting to hijack the tournament.
• Majin Punisher: A powerful disintegration technique resembling a kiai. As suggested by its name, it is a counter-technique to Majin Buu, capable of utterly evaporating an opponent's entire body to the point where even a foe possessing immense regenerative abilities like Majin Buu cannot recover, let alone survive. It can also be shot from the eyes, which was done to destroy the pieces Zen Buu was sending towards Broly. A large scale version can also be used, which was to kill Hildegan when he was released.
• Multi-Form: The ability to split oneself into multiple individuals. Typically, a user must divide their power level among the Multi-Forms, and Vegetto's clone limit is currently known to be 2. Learned from Tien when trying to visit Trunks’ school play and visit Chi-Chi on her birthday at the same time.
• Energy Shield: A specialized force field that can repel even the most mythical of attacks. Used against Buu to prevent getting absorbed, which also saved Vegetto from getting defused while it remained active. Also called Saiyan Shield.
• Final Burst Cannon: A stronger version of the Galick Gun that creates a aura around the body before discharging a powerful energy wave, inherited from Vegeta. Used by Vegetto to deflect Kid Buu's Vanishing Beam.
• Banshee Blast: A spread-shot energy blast fired from all five fingertips. Used by Vegetto to destroy Super Buu's Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack.
• Kaio-Ken: A high-risk, high-reward technique inherited from Goku. The user multiplies their power level in a "heartbeat", massively amplifying fighting power and abilities at the cost of extreme bodily stress. A proficient user can "stack" the technique, reaching higher and higher multipliers to increase both risk and reward even further. Vegetto has not displayed the technique yet, but does possess it in his skillset due to Goku being a fusee.
• Kamehameha: Goku's signature technique, a massive blue energy wave capable of dishing out serious damage. Used as a desperate bid to injure Kid Buu when he tried to destroy Planet Earth.
• Big Bang Attack: One of Vegeta's signature techniques. The user places both hands outward to generate a large bluish-white energy sphere before firing it at the opponent, upon which it explodes on impact. Vegetto used the move against Broly during their duel in the first round.
  • Big Bang Kamehameha: A brutal combination of Goku's Kamehameha and Vegeta's Big Bang Attack, and most commonly known outside of Multiverse as a signature move of Gogeta. The user forms a Big Bang Attack in front of themselves before expelling energy similar to a Kamehameha into the sphere, unleashing a colossal wave of energy that devastates the opponent. In Multiverse, Vegetto performs the technique like an ordinary Kamehameha, but seemingly generates a Big Bang Attack to fire instead of a typical ki sphere. When used as a Super Saiyan 2 to counter Broly's Omega Blaster, it was powerful enough to cancel it and create a massive explosion that rocked the entire asteroid. As a consequence, 1% of the energy penetrated the shields to harm the spectators as both Vegetto and Broly were discharged out of the arena that was distanced at thousands of miles. Chronologically, it made it debut to utterly destroy the body of the Immortal of Pandora years before the Multiverse Tournament against Broly, though it failed to eradicate his soul.
• Final Flash: A golden energy wave capable of maiming opponents several times stronger than the user, inherited from Vegeta. Like the Special Beam Cannon, its potency appears to be directly proportionate to its charge time. While it has yet to be used by Vegetto himself, it is shown to be a component to his Final Dragon Flash.
• Dragon Fist: A tremendously powerful attack developed by Vegetto. The user thrusts their fist forward, delivering a skyward punch in an explosion of energy that launches a Shenron-shaped ki construct towards an opponent, dealing devastating damage. It is a component of Vegetto's Final Dragon Flash. According to Salagir, Vegetto is the only one 'cool' enough to have such an attack.
• Final Dragon Flash: Seemingly Vegetto's ultimate attack, and a combination of Final Flash and Dragon Fist. It is charged and fired exactly like a Final Flash, though the resulting energy beam fractures into the Shenron-esque image at the end before biting down on the opponent and bombarding them with absurd levels of ki before exploding. Used by Super Saiyan 3 Vegetto to nearly eviscerate Broly during their duel. It is unknown if Vegetto can use it without being a Super Saiyan 3 or can fire more than one shot.
• Various Ki Constructs: While not displayed yet, Vegetto can use the same techniques Bra has shown during her battle against Ginyu. These were inspired from Gotenks' own capabilities. By definition, he could be able to use Bra's clone substitution or her Spirit Scythe.

Transformations

Super Saiyan

Vegetto as a Super Saiyan

Like his former selves, Vegetto is able to transform into a Super Saiyan. When in it his power level multiplies by fifty fold. His hair becomes golden blonde and spikier with his irises turning teal. A golden aura surrounds around him, occasionally generating bio-electricity upon onset of usage.

Vegetto uses this form many times over the course of his life. Examples include overwhelming and killing Super and Kid Buu, train with Trunks, expressing his rage in front of Kibitoshin, battle the Immortal of Pandora, slay Hildegan, fight Broly in the first round, stall Zen Buu in space, break free from XXI's spell, threaten those who want Porunga at the end of the second round, and to briefly overwhelm Captain Ginyu in Bra's body.

Super Saiyan 2

Main article: Super Saiyan 2

Vegetto as a Super Saiyan 2

Like his former selves, Vegetto is able to transform into a Super Saiyan 2. Vegetto achieved this form from birth. When in it his power level multiplies by ten fold. In this form, Vegetto's appearance is almost identical to his Super Saiyan form, but his hair is spikier while sparks of electricity surround him and his yellow aura. There are no bangs unlike his base and first Super Saiyan state.

Vegetto has openly stated that he has never used his 'real' power before showing it to Broly, which was supported by Gohan's own statement since he never seen him use it, even against Bra. The times Vegetto has used it was when he became very angry before Kibitoshin for not learning Instantaneous Movement fast enough, to neutralize Bra before she caused more destruction, to battle Broly, to express his anger at losing against XXI, combat against Ginyu in Bra's body, and in a future vision where he holding a unconscious Gohan while threatening to kill everyone on sight.

Super Saiyan 3

Main article: Super Saiyan 3

Vegetto as a Super Saiyan 3

Likely inherited from Goku, Vegetto can turn into a Super Saiyan 3. When in it his power level multiplies by more than ten fold. While in this form, Vegetto's hair turns golden that grows to a long length that reaches to his lower waist. His aura becomes so tremendously powerful that he became the center of gravity for the tournament.

Vegetto rarely uses this state, which beforehand was never shown to anyone until it made it debut at the Multiverse Tournament. First on-screen usage was to fight Broly in the first round. Chronologically, which was four years before the Multiverse Tournament, it was first seen to be used to fight against Illusion Bra. During the third round of the Multiverse Tournament, it was used again to battle Captain Ginyu in Bra's body off tournament grounds. It latest usage was the failed attempt to assassinate Bra after finding out her role in the Majin rebellion.

Transformations (Former)

Candy Form

When overpowered by Vegetto as a Super Saiyan, Buu briefly turned the fused Saiyan into coffee flavored candy. But due to still possessing his raw power and ability to speak, Vegetto continued to both overwhelm and taunt Buu to the point Buu transformed Vegetto back into his original form.

Weaknesses & Limitations

Extreme Hunger

Due to being a 'double Saiyan', Vegetto has twice the hunger compared to when he was still Goku or Vegeta. Due to this, only senzu beans can curb his hunger from reaching crisis levels. This trait was partly exacerbated by having Goku in his being, whom was prone to weaken excessively if he didn't eat enough.

Restricted Healing Options

Due to his high power level, very few things can heal him. Powers such as Namekian healing no longer has a effect on him.

Super Saiyan Form Shortcomings

Vegetto's overall lifespan may be lowered after each subsequent usage due to it being a 'inconvenience' on his body. Since Super Saiyan cannot be simultaneously combined with Kaioken, it remains impossible to use "Super Kaioken". When a Saiyan is at or near SSJ levels. tails don't grow back. Attaining Zenkai's have virtually became impossible due to having Super Saiyan available. And due to his massive power level, Vegetto can only maintain "Super Saiyan 3" for about ten seconds before it abruptly ends.

Magic Susceptibility

Like many others, Vegetto is not immune to powerful magic on his being. This was best seen when XXI defeated him in the tournament. Another example was when Gast completely robbed him of all strength, which later made Vegetto internally monologue about the detestable magical abilities Gast and Zen Buu possess.

Hatchiyack's Hate Screaming

Due to possessing two souls in his composition, Vegetto is extremely susceptible to the screaming Hatchiyack makes. If exposed for too long, Vegetto will faint.

Outer Space

Unlike some entities, Vegetto is incapable of freely speaking in space due to the laws of physics, thus relies on telepathy. Also he needs to breathe in oxygen, which isn't possible in these conditions. And to protect his systems from temperature and pressure changes, he relies on a thin energy shield as protection.

Underwater

Akin to outer space, but eventually Vegetto will need air to breathe since he is just holding his breath.

Power Cap

Like most characters, once Vegetto reaches the zenith of his power, he will no longer get any stronger.

Former Weaknesses & Limitations

Buu's Inner World

If exposed to Buu's magical atmosphere within his body, the absorbed Kaioshin will deem his fusion illegal and unnatural, thus forcibly defusing him by having their essence overpowering the earrings magic. Only by maintaining a energy shield will keep Vegetto safe from unfusing within Buu. However after so many years of being fused and it becoming "stabilized", Vegetto will now no longer separate if he enters Buu's body with no shield.

Equipment & Sanctuaries

Potala Earrings

A magical set of earrings that can be used to fuse two people together. Since the earrings were modified to allow Goku, whom is not an "upper" being like a Kaioshin, to use them, the earrings considered Vegeta to be compatiable with Goku and therefore made a new being unlike a Kaioshin fusion where one fusee absorbs the other. Nonetheless, compared to a Kaioshin fusion, Vegettos’ is rather unstable since he is a "lower" being; also, Vegetto's Potala earrings are incapable of being used for fusion anymore due to them being modified to be used only once for Son Goku, which he performed so with Vegeta. This is due to the fact that the Potala earrings are magical items that are originally meant for the Kaioshins for the purpose of increasing life spans, intelligence, and strengths, thus mortals were never meant to utilize them in the first place. Since Goku and Vegeta no longer exist, the earrings Vegetto has inherited have became inert.

Senzu Beans

A magical bean that can completely heal injuries, restore stamina and curb hunger. Vegetto relies on them to maintain his health from declining. They are usually held by Piccolo when in need during the Multiverse Tournament.

Last Hope

A beautiful and lush planet that was previously uninhabited by sentient lifeforms. It was found by the Kaioshins and became slightly terraformed to become the mass production center of creating enough senzu beans to ensure Vegetto's survival.

Trivia

• Contrary to popular belief, Vegetto's base power level in DBM has never been as strong as his anime debut in DBZ. This is due to DBM seeing the manga as the true canon, which never had base Vegetto battling Buu (Gohan Absorbed), whom immediately went Super Saiyan after being fused. In DBM canon, Vegetto's base power is weaker than Super Buu with either Gotenks or Gohan absorbed at all known points.
• As Multiverse was created before the existing Dragon Ball Super canon, it did not incorporate the currently-established one-hour time limit on Potara fusion for mortals, as doing so would contradict the concept of Vegetto as his own individual and permanent character. Additionally, other newly-introduced mechanics involving the Potara do not exist, such as the permission to use Time Rings, potential defects if an immortal and a mortal fuse, and potential defusion from Forced Spirit Fission. If any official canon involving Potara is applied to Multiverse, it is likely that either Porunga or Super Shenron will be strong enough to defuse Vegetto before his hour is up or have a shorter time limit if he is using his advanced transformations.
• In Multiverse, Vegetto's voice is a singular mixture between Goku and Vegeta, as opposed to his official counterpart possessing a dual voice of the two, like Gogeta.
• According to Vegetto, he can only hold his Super Saiyan 3 transformation for about ten seconds. In Vegetto's own words in-universe he said "Absolutely. I will not be held ten seconds. My power is so great that the time is accelerated. When I was Goku, I could easily take ten or twenty minutes in Super Saiyan 3. Especially when I was dead, as my body didn’t have to worry about the strain as much. Level 3 transformation is not like the other two. It’s like channeling all that power into the force of a single a blow. The power of the Level Three I used on Broly might be a hundred times more powerful than that which Goku of the Universe 18 would have been capable of, but in comparison it would have been a much shorter blow."
• Vegetto is seen wearing Vegeta's "BADMAN" shirt that Vegeta wore during the Future Trunks saga in Universe 16: Vegetto's heiresses.
• Vegetto, technically, has inherited Vegeta's royal title, making him "Prince Vegetto" (though he has no Saiyans left to rule over besides his family). It is unknown, however, if like Vegeta, he takes pride in or even preserves this.
• Much of Vegetto's arsenal is left undisplayed. It is unknown if Vegetto has or will use any canon abilities he has displayed by him or his fusees in canon, such as Vegetto Combo, Perfect Game, Savage Counter, God Impact, Savage Strike, Explosive Wave, Taiyoken, Genkidama, Psychic Whip, Destructo Disc, Galick Gun, Big Bang Flash, Spirit Cannon, Final Kamehameha, Spirit Excalibur, and much more. This pertains to even moves used by his Fusion Dance counterpart, Gogeta, such as the illustrious Stardust Breaker (Soul Punisher) since Vegetto shares his 'Big Bang Kamehameha', a move famously used by Gogeta in Dragon Ball GT.
• It remains unknown if Vegetto can ever grow a tail, thus attaining the Oozaru form or achieving the Golden Oozaru state. Additionally, it is unknown if Vegetto has ever used Super Saiyan 2nd Grade, Super Saiyan 3rd Grade, or truly has the Super Saiyan Full Power state.
• The only "true" counterparts Vegetto ever has only existed in Universe 4, Universe 18, and Universe 20. Each one defused within Buu's body after lowering the energy shield.

Salagir likes the explanation on how Vegetto's Potala fusion worked due to Goku's essence being part Kaioshin after being revived from Old Kaioshin's life force, despite not being conceptually used.

• In Universe 16, Vegetto never met Dr. Raichi since he disappeared after discovering the genocide on the Saiyan race by Freeza's hands, thus preventing him from being able to complete his own vengeance.
• Vegetto has appeared in a number of minicomics:
  • Witnessing Broly's growing delirious mindset of mistaking everyone as Kakarotto.
  • Vegetto being defeated by Cell, granting him victory over the entire tournament.
  • Uub defeating Vegetto and winning the tournament, thus wishing everyone to be the same ethnicity as him, including Vegetto.
  • Explaining the unique between between King Vegeta, Emperor Vegeta, and Vegeta.
  • Witnessing the birth of Chilma, the Potala fusion of Bulma and Chi-Chi.
  • Finding the arena during the Majin rebellion and defeating Bra with a single attack.
  • Him and Gast losing to Majin Buu, whom successfully absorbed Bra.

• Unlike the Potala fusions that consists of the Kaioshins (Old Kaioshin and Kibitoshin), Vegetto's fusees are truly identical in the same state when they merged, minus Goku's ability to use Super Saiyan 3, thus making Vegetto's base power truly balanced. This is best supported when Vegeta became Majinized and fought on equal terms with Goku, including him maintaining the Majin boost after death.
• As it was said in the original Dragon Ball Z manga, Vegetto avoided a costly drawback due to Old Kaioshin alerting Goku to not fuse in the Super Saiyan state beforehand since it will overstress the body, ultimately shortening the lifespan. Interestingly enough, Old Kaioshin claims that the Potala can only be used once in a life time and that he believes that the Potala fusion will be strong enough to defeat Super Buu (with Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed) without transforming, though it was underneath the impression that Goku was gonna fuse with Gohan, not with Vegeta that was performed later.
• In the original Dragon Ball Z manga, Vegetto existed only for a few chapters. All of it is canon to DBM, minus the part where he splits, something that didn't happen in Universe 16.
