History
Tien's life was identical to that of his Universe 18 counterpart up until Gokū and Vegeta used the Potara earrings in order to become Vegetto and defeat Majin Buu. In Universe 16, Vegetto sustained his energy barrier after being seemingly absorbed by Buu and, as a result, did not defuse back into Gokū and Vegeta. Unlike his Universe 18 counterpart, Tien was not killed by Kid Buu's attack due to Vegetto easily managing to deflect it.
Years later, Tien, along with all the other Z-Fighters, was invited to visit Gohan and Videl to see their newborn daughter Pan.
Trivia
- At one point Vegetto asked Tien to teach him the multi-form technique so he could spend time both with Gokū and Vegeta's former families. Vegetto was capable of master Tien's technique using two bodies in one day which impressed Tien who needed one month to do the same.
